Riley smiled "Oh,that would be very kind of you"She said "If it wouldn't be much trouble,I would love to!"She nodded at her own words.

Milly tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear as she studied her book shelf. She had thought that she had at least one more book to read, but every title was already familiar. She picked up a the nearest book, considering rereading it, but then she set it down again. She would need a fresh supply to last through the summer. It was harder to drown out her parents fighting when there was nothing to study. There was a reason Milly detested summer. Thankfully, she was home alone and the silence was more peaceful than Milly ever imagined it could be. But she also needed to get of the house and head down the street to the local book store and resupply. Grabbing her small purse from her very organized desk and slipping on her less than stylish tennis shoes, Milly head out on to the sidewalk and made her way down the street.

Luna sat in the small city park of Valley Springs. It was a sunny day, days that Luna would rather spend inside. But Mrs. Flynn insisted that Luna go outside on 'such a beautiful day.' There were too many beautiful days in this city as far was Luna was concerned. But she had found her own little piece of shade under a tree. Her eyes were opened, but she was dead to the world. Her mind was spinning faster and faster with memories that Luna couldn't shake. It had been two yeats. Shouldn't pain get easier to deal with over time?

Justin smiled "Allright lets go then!" he said cheerfully and tucked his skateboard securley under his arm. "Sorry I don't have a car...thats my next investment!" Justin said and chuckled, trying to start up a conversation. "I thought we could swing through the park and just kinda wing it from there...theres not a whole lot to see in this town but the people are cool..." Justin said, nodding as he turned the corner and entered the park. "I like to skateboard here! there's actually a skate park on that side of the park.." he said, pointing to the left of them when he noticed Luna. "Hey Luna!" he called cheerfully to her and flashed a peace sign as they got closer to her. "How's it hangin'" he asked and grinned at her.

Luna only noticed Justin and the new girl he was with when he finally spoke to her. "It's hanging, I guess," she said distractedly. "Low and near to death as usual," she mumbled under breath hoping the others wouldn't hear her. "Who your friend?"

"Its gonna be okay Luna..." Dev said as he sat down casually next to her and patted her shoulder gently. He threw his skateboard onto the ground as his feet and glanced up at Riley, smiling. "This is Riley! She moved in a couple houses down from mine and i offer to show her around town." Justin finished and looked at Luna.

Riley waved at Luna "Hey!"She smiled "It's a pleasure to meet you!"She said.

Amanda finally noticed to a strange new girl and staker boy walking to the park. she followed quickly. "Well well well,lookie here!"She said "Oddly colored hair new girl,Skater boy,and loser Luna,that's your new name hun!"She laughed "I'm so good,what in the world or you,new girl,doing with skater boy?"She asked Riley,of course she was protective of the boys in the town,she never wanted any girl with any boy for some reason.

Riley growled "So what?I can hang out with anybody I want,and you don't even know me to bother with me!"She growled.

Kristin was close behind Amanda, and looked around at the town that blew by as she followed her 'leader.' Together, the two girls had approched a brown haired boy; Justin, A girl who Kritin didn't reconize, and Luna; and outcast of the town that Kristin had a small liking for. She didnt say anything as Amanda mocked the other people.

"Oh!" Justin said, standing up. "Hey Amanda!" Justin was pretty much nice to everyone, he didn't really realize that Amanda was being a jerk. He tried to be nice to everyone so he was completely oblivious to Amandas harmful words. He hopped on his skateboard and rolled silently over to her. He pulled a neat trick right in front of Amanda and landed neatly on the board. "This is Riley! shes new here and I was just showing her around! Oh and Luna's not a loser...shes great!" Justin said, grinning handsomely at Amanda.

Kristin manadged to smile a bit at Justin's words about Luna. He was so cheery and happy, unlike Amanda where she was mean to others who didnt even do anything wrong. She wanted to stand up to Amanda and say how she really felt about her, but she needed to be in a group to stay well noticed.

Milly walked into the bookstore and helped herself to the millions of books there. She searched around for any title that looked interesting.

Luna stood up, using the tree to list herself up. "Well, I wouldn't exaclty call myself great," she said as she strolled over to the rest of the group. "And you don't need to try and defend me. I know who's really the loser in this situation. Am I right, bondie?" she said to Amanda in a mocking tone.

Amanda was,of course,amazed by Justin. "Oh Justin,your so talent"She said "But your in such lies,your to nice to such people,someday you'll open your eyes and see what you have been hanging out with"She then glared at Luna "Keep your mouth shut,you don't talk to me in any way,oh and new girl stay away from what's mine"She warned "Kristin come on!"She said as she stomped her foot and trotted off.


Riley near went after Amanda "Who does she think she is?"She growled

Kristin hesitated to follw, but did as she commanded. She glanced at Riley one last time, before faintly saying, "Bye.." And followed Amadna off.

"The Queen of Sheba, probably," Luna said to Riley as she watched Amanda storm of with a raised brow. "But's it's amazing how easy it is to knock her off her throne," she said just loud enough for Amanda to hear.

"Be right back guys..." Justin said and smiled at Riley and Luna. He skated up behind Kristin and grabbed her arm gently. "Wanna come with me to show Riley around?" he whispered, noticing how much she didn't enjoy following Amanda around. "I'm sure Riley won't mind, she'd probably be happy to make some new friends..." Justin added as he glanced back at Riley and Luna then smiled and waved, hoping they didn't mind that he was talking to Kristin.

Luna rolled her eyes at Justin. "What is it with boys and blonds?" she asked aloud.
