If you think it's stupid, why did you make it in the first place? That's what I can't figer out...

Mods are mods. Mods want to look after the site, so they made this rule. I don't think what you're doing is very nice. You're being cheeky...

First of all, if you don't like the rules, too bad. If you feel unfairly oppressed by them, well just leave AS then. Secondly, if you make a topic such as this one (especially in the rant board) it's bound to get replies and just because you made the thread doesn't guarantee that everyone is automatically bound to agree with your opinion. And also, if you think it's "stupid" (as I agree that the subject of this thread is in its entirety) then why bother to say anything about it at all? So I'm going to repeat a cliche that I find useful in situations such as these, don't dish it if you can't take it.

You now think this topic is stupid, so why did you even make it in the first place? Also only 5 people posted on this before you said that. That's not a lot. Like Mighty said, if you don't want people to post here , then don't say anything in the first place. I think the animated avatars are distracting, and while I have a relevantly fast computer some others don't. It can take a while to load. There are other reasons too, but Lux has already listed them. ALL of them.

Yeah, I think we can consider this issue resolved now.

Frankly, I don't mind animated avvies/sigs in principal (animated things are cool) but when an entire forum page has tons of people all with animated avvies (happens on another site I visit) my computer seizes up, it takes forever to load and in the end I give up.

So yeah, locked.
