The small, little grey and black puppy snuggled close to her mother for warmth. The newborn pup felt safe aginst her mother. She had heard her mother say her name, and she looked up at her, though her eye swere closed shut, she could see shadows, and a bit of light and dark. 'Sable' she thought. My name is Sable. She thought. She couldn't talk, but that didnt mean she couldnt talk to herself in slience.

Taika decided to sleep, she was exahusted(sp?), Semir was with her now so she didn't have anything to worry about, she just closed her eyes, feeling Semir's body laying next to her.

Semir laid down next to Taika, he knew that she wanted to sleep but since the pups were very young, he decided to stay with them, he watched the male playing with his tail and smiled "What's their name?" he asked, sure that she gave them a name

"The male is James and the little female is Sable" answered Taika, still with closed eyes, relaxed.

James stopped chasing his tail, and looked at his father. He had a pretty confused look on his face, but when he heard Semir saying his name, he started smiling, then jumped and laid his front paws on his father's rib. James started wagging his little tail again, and jumped on his father's back. Then, he bit Semir on the ear, but since he didn't really have teeth in his mouth yet, it wasn't too hard.

Sable could feel the ground under her meet having lots of sounds. She could sense, and hear, her brother James bouncing around, having fun. She wnated to join him, but not yet did she feel safe goin far from her mother. She seemed attached to her mother, and didnt plan on seperating from ehr any time soon. But there was her father she could feel safe with as well. But she was mostly with her mother.

Semir saw James' happyness when he pronunced the word James, he saw his son jumping around and then attacking him by jumping in his back and chewing his ear but since the pup was without teeth, for Semir that was like if someone was licking the ear; he laughed and looked at his son "James, you're gonna kill me!" he said, still laughing.

Taika was happy to hear her mate and her son playing together, she opened an eye to look at Sable, she saw her daughter looking around but after coming close to her, watching her brother and Semir, Taika knew that females feel safe with the mother and was proud that her daughter felt protected by her, so she touched Sable's back with her tail.

After hearing Semir talking to him, James started again wagging his tiny tail, happily for getting his father's attention, then he jumped down from Semir's back and nuzzled him. Then, James noticed his tail wagging behind him, and started once again chasing it.

Sable looked up at her mother, before she felt her mother's fluffy tail touch her back. She giggled in reply to that, and rolled over on her back, latching the tail within her grasp with her paws, rolling fastly from side to side hold her mother's tail. She was smiling, and just couldnt wait untill she could play with her eyes open.

Semir laughed, it was too funny watching James' little fight against his tiny tail "Son, you need the tail! And trust me, you'll never cath it!" he said, smiling, nuzzling James' back "If you really want to play with a tail, do what your sister is doing, play with a bigger tail".

Taika noticed that Sable was playing with her tail and so, to make happy her daughter, she played with her, well, her tail played with Sable. Taika really want to play with her daughter but she was really tired and hoped that her daughter would wait until she would be awake.

Sable senses that her mother was tired, and wished to rest. So she calmy and steadily let the rasp off of her tail, letting it go. She there layed alone, awaiting something to happen. A world with no sights is quite boring, so she just hoped her eyes would open soon, and the world would be revieled.

James felt Semir nuzzling him, and heard his words, then started smiling at him and licked his quickly. Then James ran up to his sister, and saw her playing with their mother's tail. James looked a little confused, but once he realized the whole thing, he gently bit his mother's tail.

Sable nuzzled her playful brother, trying to tell him to let the two of them's mother sleep. Its wat she needed after giving birth to two brand new pups, ready to have the world. She walked up to her father, and sunggled up close to his feet, and smiled as she begain to fall into a deep sleep.

Taika saw that Sable understood that she was tired and so, she closed the eye and started to sleep a bit, she promised herself that when she wake, she would play with Sable, she was her daughter and nothing would interrupt them; she felt that Sable played with James and she slept well.

Semir watched his son going in her daughter's direction, he saw that they played together and knew that Taika was sleeping, he decided to sleep aswell; the pups was playing close to them and he thought that some sleep wouldn't do anything bad.

James nuzzled his sister back, then saw that almost everybody was going to sleep. He looked all around him, then let out small yawn, and curled up next to Semir. Then he closed his eye ss and went to sleep as well.

((Ok, thanks. I was drawing a picture of Sable and Taika, and it would be nice to see her markings.))

Sable was already sound asleep. But in her mind, as she dreamed, something terriable was happening....

Sable was running quickly, her paws thumping up and down aginst the hard rock earth. She was being chased by something. But no, she wasn't the small shortlegged pup she was in life. No, now she was a full gorwn wolf, well maybe a 'teen'. Her long legs ran quickly. She saw her mother and her father see her being chased by a hunter.... Sable guessed they would try to help her, but than they shot. That sound. It echoed threw the sky.

She than woke up in a flash, scared of that dream.

Semir saw James going to curls close to him, his son was now sleeping next to him, so peaceful, so calm and Semir, with a proud father's face looked Sable, and then Taika, before sleeping.
