"Ruby...Ruby is that you?" asked Tracy to the injuried Phoenix.

The Phoenix looked up at them and nodded. "Help." she asked and collapsed, she was in a great deal of pain from the arrow.

"Lets get her inside quick." said Tracy, heading down to the Phoenix.

Kristen then finally snapped out of her shocked stare. "Alright"She said,walking down to Ruby. She slowly slide her arms around her "Open the door and get some towls,we need to get the arrow out"She said.

Chip bonuced from his spot. "We'll help you Ruby!"He said,then speeded off to the door. He jumped up,trying to open it. 'Bieng short sucks!'He thought.

Tracy opened the door and got the towels like she was told. She got bandages as well. "How deep is the arrow in?"

"Pretty deep." moaned Ruby. She looked at Kristen. To her, Kristen was like a mother, they'd met years ago. "Please...get it out..."

Kristen started to pet Ruby's head. "I will"She said "Ok,Chip since your oh so smart now,what's the bets thing to do"

Chip jumped up to the sofa as Kristen placed Ruby there. "Keep it at the best angle,90 degrees will surily destory her wing,I suggest that you should first break the tip of the arrow so the sharpness doesn't ruin her wings"He said

Kristen nodded,pulling Ruby's wing up and breaking the tip,setting aside the point on the coffe table. She grabbed on to the rest of the arrow. "This will sting a bit"She said,then quickly pulled it out.

Ruby screeched in agony but then panted and relexed. "Thank you." she said, she looked at her own wing and let a tear fall into it, healing the damage. "I couldn't do that while the arrow was still in there." she said. "Now if I may, can I rest, I'm exshausted."

"Sure." said Tracy. She turned to Chip. "Alright, you've got some explaining to do."

Kristen nodded as she back away from Ruby then looked at Chip. "Same here,then start talking"She said,crossin her arms.

Chip laughed nerously. "Uh,Well,what needs to be explianed?"He asked stupidly

Chip sighed "Well,do you really execpt for a cat to want a life under the limelight,being cut open,blood taken from my body,some liquid being spilled into my blood stream,and so on and so on"He said "Basicly,I didn't want to have a fate as a lab rat for any human,I'd rather the warm bed and a cup of tea,well milk.."

"My species have always been very,how you say,unintelligent"Chip said "Deciding that my kind wasn't only cunning,I studied more then our history and battle plans,i've also been able to uncover time traveling secrets,meeting a very smart person,I'm sure you've heard of him,Albert Einstein"He wrapped his tail around himself. "After that,I've rasied by IQ level and became smart enough to talk,and more!"

Kristen then raised an eyebrow. "Well,I'll just go with that"She said then bent down to CHip "But I still can't believe somethign so small is so smart"She said,then pulled right back as she watched the fun unravle.

Chip jumped on his hind legs. "I'm not small!Your just to tall!"He said,hopping form on foot to the other.

Chip then sniffed the air. "I don't know,but the sent from the arrow isn't plesent to the nose"He said rubbing his nose(Not saying Jerret smella bad,lol)
