All animated films have more or less the same length. (one hour and 20 minutes)

That's just based on the 3 that have come out so far.
The next film (if it is going to be made) might be longer or shorter.

it did take a long time to come out but im glad it did i love wolf quest it was a really good movie:D

The only reason it seemed Universal took so long was because they were looking for people to wirte, animate and generally create a believable sequel to balto.

probably. But once they had hired everyone they still had to make a storyline and sketch out Aleu, Nava, Niju all all the other characters.
I don't know much about this (steet will know more) but i do know it takes a long time

All movies take a long time to do,onless it is a short film.I think That it took about 3 yrs to do

I think it took them a significant amount of time because they had based the first one on a true story and so this was the first sequel they had ever made. They had to explain what happened after the first one and they had to create all new characters. Also wolf quest came out years after Balto 1. I remember watching B1 all the time when I was a baby and then when I was much older hearing about a Balto2.

i know. Same thing here. But i don't think i was always watching balto when it first came out. I think i watched like once or twice then i don't know what happened balto just went poof and i completely forgot about him until i saw a preview on TV for Balto 3 WoC
