I'll join...I love malamutes <3 Name: Arizona Desert Wind (show/stud name), Arizona or just Zona (pet name) Number: 5 Batch: 1 Age: 4 years Gender:(given) Male Breed: Malamute Personality: 'Zona is a proud, confident dog, perhaps because of his reputation as an excellent father to pups (or, as the humans call it, "a good stud"). He loves to run but never had the chance to be a sled dog. He has sired several litters (I'll have to create a couple of females). Although he is a very strong, capable dog, he prefers to avoid fights and is a gentleman. He is a pushover for ladies and puppies, but was always somewhat reserved around them, never really "falling for" any of them...until he met Misty. History: Arizona was born to two purebred malamute sled dogs who were actually native to the state of Arizona, hence their eldest son's name. It was discovered that the pup had promising conformation and good manners, and consequently Arizona was shipped off to be shown. However, he didn't take well to the tense atmosphere of the ring, and after about a year (and several shows that were obviously very stressful to him), 'Zona's compassionate owners retired him from showing with a fairly poor record, despite his original promise. (continued) The couple became serious malamute breeders shortly thereafter and moved to Alaska in order to get ahold of some "genuine" specimens. They then experimented with Arizona as far as breeding compatibility - and were happily surprised at the results! The first litter's dam was a beautiful cream malamute whom Arizona promptly developed a crush on but who shunned him in return. Heartbroken (although he later realized that he had not really been truly in love with her), 'Zona learned to keep his heart to himself. He sired another two litters (both of them with another purebred malamute, of course) before me met a beautiful two-year-old Weimaraner/Husky mix named Misty. She had been in love with him for a while, and tried her best to impress him. Deep down, Arizona felt the same way, although his experience with the breeding industry had taught him to hold back his feelings. Nonetheless, as time passed, they both fell deeply in love and admitted their feelings to each other, although they both realize that because Misty is a mixed breed she would never be a potential "mate" for him. Therefore, 'Zona escaped from the breeding facility and his now living on the streets with Misty, who is now (assuming I get Arizona ;D) expecting her first litter of pups. Future: Arizona would certainly have an intersting future - he loves all of his children and would attempt to keep in touch with them (all of the purebred breeding facility pups), while at the same time trying to be a good father to his and Misty's pups, whom he also loves. Also, he has to be on the watch for his old owners, who are trying to track him down every step of the way. It would make a very nice fanfic ;D As your character: A father to many pups (some may end up as adoptables, if that would be all right; if not, then I'd keep all of them); a mate for my Misty girl, for whom I've been looking for a good male for a long time now XD ...And a just plain interesting purebred male character who's not related to Balto (I've been needing one of those for a while now ) Picture:(Must be posted at the same time as this bio) Below!

Name: Austin Number: #5 Batch: Newborn Batch Age: 'bout 2-3 years Gender: (well, the newborns genders aren't listed) Female Breed: Malamute Personality: rebelious, a fast thinker on her feet(er, paws), very cunning, friendly. Austin can be optimistic when she wants, but can be very serious and down to earth as well. She does tend to be a "raincloud" when it comes to disscussing matters of romance, simply because she's become acustumed to the thought that males only want one thing (plus, she's only met one male who was a exception to that theory. the rest weren't exzactly great exzamples). One thing she loves is flowers, and she likes nothing better then just laying around in her masters porch with the colorful array of plants. Austin has often been teased about haveing a "boy's" name, but she just shrugs it off. She likes her name. History: Both Austin's parents were in a breeding program, and the man who ran it was very pleased with her coloring and decided to keep her and sold the rest of the litter. Austin wasen't aware of why the man had kept her at first, she was too young, but when she was of age, the man put her in with his favorite male: a red malamute called Striker. Striker was polite, and exsplained what their master exspected. Austin flat-out refused. Striker was a gentleman and didn't force her, so eventuly, the man took Austin out when he saw the two weren't hitting off. He waited awhile, then put Austin in with another male: a dark grey malamute called Crash. Crash was not at all like Striker, and when Austin refused to do what the master wanted, he tried to force her, which broke out in a fierce fight between the two. The man quickly interviend and pulled Austin out, but not before Crash had given her a serious bite on the leg, thus resulting in giving her a scar there. The man tried Austin with sevral more males, all of which tried to make her do what the man exspected, which resulted in more fights when Austin refused. Then the man tried to rent Austin out to other breeders, to see if she'd hit off with a male not from his program. That didn't work eaither. Austin ended up in more fights with the other dogs, and the breeders she was rented to weren't very happy about their prized studs being beat up. Finnaly, the man gave up on Austin as a breeding dog and put her up for sale (adding a note that she didn't get along with males). After awhile, a young man(Mike) came by looking for a companion dog for his wife. The man showed him sevral litters of pups, but Mike said he was looking for something a bit older and calmer. The man showed him Austin, who took a liking to Mike, and Mike said she was perfect and bought her from the man. Mike took Austin home where his wife(Jill) took a imediete likeing toward Austin. Austin to liked Jill, and soon they were the best of friends. Mike ran a bussiness and was gone most of the day, and Jill was a florist. Mike and Jill's back porch was more like a greenhouse(they were very rich) and had a dozen or so different kinds of flowers in it. Austin loved it in there. The aroma of the flowers soothed her and she liked looking at the different brightly colored flowers. At first Austin wasen't very social with other dogs, esspecialy males who tried flirting with her, but eventuly met a very friendly husky mix called Casey. Casey was very understanding of why Austin was so cold toward males, and she helped her avoid them. The two dogs became good friends and it soon became a regular sight for everyone to see them together. Future: Austin will eventuly meet one of Casey's brothers(Tad) through a very awkward incadent, and she will, of course, brush him off coldly. Tad, however, will be astounded by this female who brushed him off. Ladies ussualy flock him at times (which he's polite about, but not very confertable with) and has never had one shove him away. He's rather intrigued and attempts to meet her. Austin, perplexed by this male trying to get to know her, promply blocks out his every attempt. Tad refuses to be disscoureged and keeps trying. Austin becomes exzasperated, yet amused(much to her anoyence), by his attempts to get her attention. Casey, being very close to her brother, knows he's fallen for her best friend, Big Time. Absalutly giddy about the idea of him finnaly falling in love, after having so many females after him, Casey decides to help him get Austin's attention. Will Austin eventuly give in to Tad's attempts, or just keep shoving him away? As your character: A reject in the breeding industry, Austin will be a female with a passion for flowers and a cold outlook on romance. A character I've been meaning to make for awhile now, but could never come up with a design I liked for it. This ones colors are nice, unique, yet not overly conplicated and confusing. She'll fit the role nicely for one of the stories I'm working on. Picture: *points down* (I didn't know all her markings, so I inprovised. hope thats all right.)

When making an adoption topic you must;- Add images of the character(s) up for adoption. - Add a small bio for each character. - It doesn't have to be an entire story, just an idea of the character. - Put effort into your topic, please try and avoid first-come-first-served adoptions. - Not use stolen characters, art or renders/lineart. Create it yourself or don't make the topic. - Try not to post multiple adoption topics. Put all characters for adopting in one topic. - Add only character's for adopting. If you made one you want to keep yourself - don't add it with "mine" labelled next to it. - Add a bio form for people replying who want to adopt to fill in. If you can't think up a bio form, here is a small template one you can use; - Code: Select all
Name: Age: Gender: Breed/species: Personality: History: When replying to an adoption topic you must;- Add a coloured image of the character you want to adopt. - If you're using a lineart or render - only good colourations will be allowed. It must look like the character. - Add a bio for the character. If you want people to adopt your characters - it helps to make a good adoption topic; Most people don't like very messy topics or confusing ones. Examples of good and bad adoption topics: Good Adoptions:- Old characters you no longer use. - Pups of your characters. - Siblings of your character you don't feel like keeping. Bad Adoptions:- Random brightly coloured wolves/dogs you made up 5 minutes ago. - Random "I have a ton of wolves for adoption!" topics in general. No one likes puppy-mills.

I'm trying for the second malamute^^ I really like the design =) Name: Siku (means "Ice" in Eskimo language) Number: #2 Batch: 1 Age: still a younger, around 1-2 years old Gender:(given) male Breed: Malamute Personality:smart and fast, was choosen as sled dog in his litter because was the stronger and with a body that was made for racing, he's one that doesn't accept a help from the others just because he's young, he is one that want to reach is goal without help, to show that he's strong enough to make it, can be competitive if he race or is in a challenge where the prize interests him, loves his work as sled dog but we can say that he was forced to became a racing dog and sometimes he wishes to do something different than racing, can be a headstrong and act in an impulsive way, he's a good listener and when starts to talk because he's into a discussion that he likes, it's difficult to stop him, he's one that respect who is more able than him ans who's an older racer since old racers have more experience than him that is just a younger that is still learning about the racing world, he follows the instructions of the lead dog and, of course, the musher, and obey their orders since they're the leaders. History:born in a famous malamute's breeding center, Siku's future was already made when his mother's owner went to see the newborns pups, he was the bigger and the stonger in the litter and was called like that because h was the only one in the litter that could easilly walk or run in the ice and he was proud of this because it made him feel like he was better than his siblings, thing that was true. He was bought by a family that always had malamutes and went there to buy a new dog since the old one died of old age and Siku was sold to them that kept his name and was, for few months, a house dog, a pet but when he and his owners went in town for a walk and saw a sled race, a mushed noticed Siku and asked to his family if he could train him for being a sled dog; the humans accepted and the little dog started his training. After the training he was put in a sled team, a famous one since he looked like a good and fast dog as a swing dog, the other members of the team never liked him since the old dogs that wanted that place was jelous, it was no fair for them that a new arrived got one of the best place in the team and they always tried to kick him off without results because two dogs in the team, a wheel dog Lou (before he changed team) and the lead dog Brandon (my red masked pup) liked his bravery and defended him because they were sure that he could became a champ. Lou and Siku always took Siku's little owner old sled an went into the forest to do some training since now he was in an important team, it was better if he do some training again. When Lou changed team, Siku tried to defend himself alone but Brandon had always to help him not because he was a kid but because the other dogs of the team were bigger, older and so stronger than him, he had few chances to win them over. Plus most of the dogs in the city knew where they parents were but not Siku that was separed from his mother and siblings when he was still very young and so, the dogs made jokes on him like "Where is your mother little runt? Oh right, you don't know!" and after laughed a lot, sometimes the malamute wanted to cry because when they talked like that he missed his mother and they were true, he didn't know where she was. After some time, he was returning at home when he discovered that the humans that he considered his family moved without him, leaving all his stuff outside with the rubbish, he couldn't believe it and went inside the home to check if someone was still here but the house was empty and he laid on the floor alone, crying. The next morning he didn't go where the team was, thinking that they would made jokes on him about this now but Brandon went to search him and when he found him, Siku told him what happened, still very depressed and with the eyes full of tears; Brandon decided to take the young malamute with him. Future: Will stay in his position of Swing dog, being Brandon's pupil and like a son, he will live now with Brandon's family that include him, Brandon, Timik (Brandon's daughter) and, of course, the humans. I think he'll meet again Lou but this time in a race against his new team (not sure of this, I'll have to ask Lucky for this since the team Lou's in is her team) and I think that the other dogs in the team will make him another bad joke but this time not with words but with fact (like a run where who wins will take his place in the team or something like that), will be good accepted in Brandon's family (and Timik will consider him like a little brother), will probably have a crush on Quanesha (one of Trey and Sakura's daughters), but who doesn't have one on her or on her sisters xD. As your character: first the pupil of the breeding center, after the pupil of the lead dog in his team,he will be featured in Timik's fanfic (that I'm writing) Let me some freedom, most in fan images that I enjoy more to do and fan arts (but maybe this rarely), plus since I'm having a long trip by plane, I need to do some doodles and when I saw him I said " 8D here comes my doodles' model! ", plus I was searching a malamute to break my chain of wolves-siberian huskyes-mixed breeds, I needed a pure breeded dog able to pull sleds and so, a memeber in Brandon's team since I'm building it and I need memebers, will have the voice of Francesco Pezzulli click to hear and as theme song, the one from the Treasure Planet's soundtrack I'm still here click to hear (that I totally adores <3) Picture:(Must be posted at the same time as this bio)below, there's a full body pic and a pic that shows a moment of the training with Lou =) body pic training with Lou
