Ok first off, lets get away from the grammer issue, it's not the reason this was posted so I respectfully ask everyone get back on topic. I realize grammer is problemmatic but its not my point.

Second, I have a question, is being respectful an actual rule here? And if not, should it be? I think maybe it should but there are problems that could stem from it, what seems respectful to most, might seem disrespectful to a certain person, which could pose a problem for the mods in people attempting to get others in trouble.

Well, at the bottom of the SB is says:
NO offensive comments, NO sex, BE nice to everyone
NEVER give personal information!
Speak only ENGLISH here. MATES talks aren't allowed here!
Behave well! We never like to ban anyone!
So it might be a rule, but not everyone will be nice, if you make it into a rule it just might cause more trouble.
