You got it all wrong, you can't just ask for the spirits' help, you gotta offer them things through sacrifice, like farm animals Oh and you could just find your mother a job with the wildlife game comission, doesn't have to work with people much then

I'll keep you in my prayers, Mighty. <3 I feel a little selfish, but I'm desperate. I'm getting surgery to repair my ribcage. I have a condition known as pectus excavatum. The sternum grew inward instead of across so I have a dent in my chest. Picture to give you an idea, it's not graphic. As of now, it affects my stamina (I have none) and my confidence in body image. I haven't worn a bathing suit in 4 years. I was supposed to get the surgery on the 9th, but the insurance company denied our claim despite the fact their old index shows my case is severe enough for them to cover it. The surgery has been put off until the insurance company approves. The surgery is hundreds of thousands of dollars (hospital stay alone is over $250,000!) so we can't afford it if I get denied again. This will only get worse and in adolescence it's easier to fix because I'm still growing. As I get older it'll be harder, more painful, and a higher chance of permanent damage to my heart and lungs. So this is a prayer request for two things. One, to get the surgery approved. And if it does, to recover from it. Thanks BS. <3

As interesting as I think that would be, this probably isn't the place and it could get into religiously specific talk (i.e. a Christian's view versus, say, a Hindu's view or whatever). So please, no more of that. Besides, most people don't have farm animals, and even if we did we wouldn't have a prayer of getting it by the ASPCA these days. I have to agree with Dragon Tamer here. This topic is allowed to be here so people can ask for prayers for whatever situation they're in, not to discuss whether you think it's the right way of doing so. Every religion has prayers, no matter what the form. Either post saying you're praying for someone and give them some piece of mind and help or don't post at all.

They denied it.
We're calling everyone we can think of to help us out. We're also trying to negotiate with the insurance company saying we'll pick up the tab for what they don't pay.
We haven't given up yet and I don't think we will. Ugh, I know a bit about the health insurance systems =/ If all else fails, Canada has free healthcare (so does Cuba, believe it or not) - maybe you could try your luck there? (In fact, free healthcare isn't necessarily bad healthcare, proven time and time again) However you do it, I wish you good luck - my prayers (however little worth they may be) are with you in this!

I'll be praying for all of you guys <3 But I have a bit of a situation myself.... I live in southern California. And even though my dad makes good money, we simply can't afford the area. So my parents have made offers on a couple of houses in Parker, Colorado. For me this will be a huge culture shock (i'm used to malls, big cities, and a starbucks at every corner XD). And since I've lived in my house for 12 years im not looking forward to leaving. Especialy my boyfriend (David)... I'm used to being with him all the time (we've been together for almost 3 years) and not going to school with him will be a major shock to me. We both want to keep our relationship strong but it will be hard due to the distance. So please, pray that my family is able to find a place and that me and David maintane our relationship.

Take it from me, the country life has its benefits if you know how to reap 'em. I'll pray that you can find them and enjoy them to their full, and that you'll grow and blossom where you've been transplanted. As for David, it sounds as if you two have a great relationship going. I'll pray that God would smile on you both.

I have a tooth cavity, my mom says it can kill me if it gets infected- I am really worried. My mom's new job at a bank isn't going well- They ripped her off 100$ of her pay check, one of my mom's boss is rude, and not very responcable [Sp?] And she had to ask the rent people to let her pay later. She was crying at the time. And my cat is getting older- he's slower, and has Kidney Failur [Sp?] I'm worried about him.
I will be hopeing the best for you, Sora and Mighty.

I will be hopeing the best for you, Sora and Mighty. As much as I'm not a dentist, you can't die from a tooth cavity. As for your Mom's job; I hope it works out for her and I hope the best for your cat.

This may sound selfish but Im really worried about it I hope that someday i'll be able to be a exchange student in Alaska and I am really worried about it I put all money I can get a hold of in a big can but still its just 300 something. My mom barely got enough money to buy food and pay the bills and im constantly thinking about it and how great and lovely it would be. There haven't been a single day in these last 2 years when I haven't thought of it every, single day even if I have been on vacation in a sunny land I think of it. It feels like, Alaska is the only place I will really feel at home. pray for me

I have a prayer request for my friend.
My friends brother has been suffering for years with an incurable headache that no one can figure out what's wrong with him. They've spent years trying to understand the problem, but the doctors just have no clue what is wrong with him. So I'm praying for him. But I'm also praying for his brother, my best friend, who needs to get a job and is trying to get one where I work. I just pray that he gets the job because he needs to get out of the house. It's unhealthy for him to be cooped up in his home like that.
