Aaron smiled a crooked smile, "Ok!" He was excited to be in a new town and to get a fresh start. He saw the dog who had spat at him earlier flirting with another dog. The dog he was standing by was a beautiful Collie and he began to walk towards her then stopped, wondering if he was "allowed" to go see them. "Um...who is she?" He asked Gail, turning back

Gail smiled "The collie cross is Dakota,But all her friends call her Dot" she replied warmly.Gail trotted up to the collie completely disregarding Togo "hello Dakota,Lovely morning isnt it?" she greeted.

Togo looked like he was about to butin but he whispered savagely in Gails ear "I thought you were showing three legs around"

Gail smiled politely though it was clear she wanted to bite Togo "I am Togo"

Dakota growled at Togo. Then turned to Gail and smiled as her friend came up to her. "It's great. I want my owner to come back home soon." She said wagging her tail in happiness.

Suddenly Buddy trotted up to Gail, Togo, Dot and the new dog. "Hey guys, good to see you all again." He nodded toward Aaron. "

Who are you?" he asked. "New dog? Why do you have three legs? I bet that's an interesting story!"

Aaron wobbled up the the three dogs, they seemed around his age. He felt a little awkward being around dogs who might be popular. "H-hi..." He mumbled shyly, wary that he might get made fun of about having three legs. He stood instead of sitting down and his one back leg was kind of wobbly trying to hold his back weight all my itself. He turned towards the newcomer and opened his mouth to speak but no words came out.

GAil smiled "Thats lovely" she yipped as her own tail wagged.She motioned for Aaron to came up and meet her friends."This is Aaron" she explained "Hes new in town so im showing him around" she said.

Togo smiled forcibly "Well,maybe you should get on with it" he saidwith a steeley tone.

Dakota growled. "You are so rude! Tongo." She said and walked past all of them. She was heading back to the beach. "Males are so dumb." She said aloud.

Aaron watched Dakota walk away from the group, not missing her remark. He looked at Togo put his tail down. If anything he could get from this dog it was acceptance. He was a misfit and probably wouldn't be accepted into anything. But he had to try, at least while he was here. He looked back at the dog who had joined them. "Hello." He said cheerfully, hoping this dog could become a friend of his.

Dakota sat back down on the beach not that far from the others. She wanted to go back to talk to the others but Tongo was such a weird dog and was only looking for a good time.

Togo scoffed at Aaron "Just keep out of my way" he snapped so only Aaron could hear him.He trotted off with his tail held high.

Gail fumed silently "I dont know hat his problem is,Hes only got half his eyesight" she snarled under her breath."Hello Buddy" she said nicely to her friend before turning to Aaron "Well,I better get on with showing you around" she said.

Aaron rolled his eyes at Togo and turned back to them. Aaron nodded to Buddy and looked at Gail. "Ok! Do you know of a place I could stay at as well?" He asked, wagging his tail in excitement. His stomach growled, a little too loudly. He didn't need to speak to tell the others he was hungry.

"Well,Theres a kennel in my back yard.Its not the best but its warm and dry" she said.She then heard Aarons stomach "Hungry?" she joked.

Togo fumed "This new dog" he growled.

Dakota wagged her tail and walked back up to him. "If you like you can stay with me. You can't stay inside nor can I but I can allow you welcome to the basement." She said smile.

Gail smiled "looks like youve got plenty of offers" she laughed.Her tail wagged slightly "well do you want some food?" she asked

"I can get something for us all to eat." Buddy said. "and you could stay at my place, but you already have a bunch of offers. If you want, tomorrow I could introduce you to some of the other dogs you haven't met yet. Don't worry, they're not all like Togo. Oh and by the way, how old are you Aaron?"

He wagged his tail in a friendly way. "So, could you tell me how you got 3 legs sometime?" He asked. "I, personally, think a three-legged dog is pretty cool." Suddenly he remembered what time it was. "Oh my gosh, I have to get home!" He exclaimed. "Seeya tomorrow, guys! And sorry about the food!" He yelped. He broke into a run and dashed back to his home.
