Thanks. A car hit his motorcycle, we don't know how it happened, he can't remember the accdent. I hope he recovers from the amnesia as well. I'm sure the prayers are helping.

The nurse apperantly got the facts wrong a bit. my brother was on a bicycle, not a motorcycle. That's about the only wrong fact we got. He wasn't breathing when the peramedics arrived but they recessated him and he regained consiousness in the ER. He has a fractured skull but he's still awake and everything. Keep praying! I know its helpping and I'm really thankful.

I will keep your brother in my prayers! Thankfully the bleeding in his brain has stopped and once they get it drained hopefully there will be nothing but improvements to his condition and he will be fine and his memory will return! May god help your brother and your family through this tough time!

It makes me feel a lot better that so many people care, I'm sure it would make him feel better as well, he's conscious so that's a good sign. They still have to fix were the bleeding was as well, so it doesn't bleed worse. I feel most bad that I have to stay here while my parents are with him. Due to some things I can't discuss, I'm legally not allowed to be around my brother for another year, nothing ether of us did, just something bad another person did to him once that messed his life seriously up, another reason this isn't good. But I'm staying positive, best thing to do.

ALright, now I found something out that makes me furious. The person that ran him over, ran away when she did it! Luckly she wasn't very smart and returned to the scene of the crime and she returned to act like an 'innocent bystander' and my brother friend that was with him identified her. My mom is going to press charges and in all honestly, I'm pissedoff.gif at this woman for doing a hit and run, I could forgive her if she'd stopped and took responsability for her actions but she didn't, she ran.

Before being all angry at her put yourself in HER shoes. If you hit someone do you honestly think you would do the "right" thing? No, because that's not what you would be thinking. You can't be angry at her for doing what is natural of humans most of the time. Sure, it's tough luck that it happened to your brother, but look at it from both sides.

And why can't Godzillawolf be angry at this woman? Just because something's "human" doesn't mean you can't be mad about it. What you have there Tibb is flawed logic. It might be a natural thought process and/or action, but that does not put it above criticism. Who are you to say Godzillawolf wouldn't do the right thing if he was in the woman's situation? You certainly don't have the right to make such a claim, so I suggest quiet your mouth.

I believe I'm perfectly justified to be angry. Here's a simple fact, if you hit someone, its considered an accdent and if charges are pressed, they won't be as bad if you stop and help. If you flee, its hit and run, which is a falony and has severe penalties. So thus, its far less trouble to stop and help than risk that, despite the fact its the right thing to do and what you should do. I most certainly would stop, I wouldn't run and leave someone, Tibb, you don't know me, if you knew me, you'd know I'm a kindhearted person, I couldn't bear the thought of leaving some hurt on the road after accdently hitting them. And its not human nature, yes, fear is, but there is no set 'human nature' to every single person, everyone is diffrent.

You don't know how you would act at all firstly, so don't even try to give me that. MAYBE you would do the 'right thing', but unless you are ACTUALLY in that situation YOU DO NOT KNOW THAT. But still, you fail to look at it from both sides. Hmm. Guess closedmindedness is human nature too.

I bet she actually feels worse than you or your family do about it. Who's the one that has to live with what she did every day? She is. Who's the one that has to think about how she might have ruined some kid's life? She is. Who's the one that might have her license taken away for it? She is.
Think about how the other person feels and stop thinking about yourself and then I might feel sorry for you. (:

As to Ghost-Unit, stop picking at everything I say. I could care less what you have to say - ever. Do us both a favor and stop while you are behind. Got it? Mkay.

You still don't have the right to make claims either which way.

You bash Godzillawolf for being close-minded on this issue, yet you are quick to assert that this woman somehow has it worse than Godzillawolf and his family do. He never asked for anyone to feel sorry for him, he simply asked for some support. You have neglected to bring any of that to his topic, and I myself would take that as a great disrespect. He might also.

I will pick out everything you say, because you seem to be doing that to Godzillawolf. Give the man a break, fool. I don't care if you pay any heed to what I say. I will say it regardless. When people talk about you, you are quick to use "You don't know me!", and then you go and assume stuff about other people. Hypocrite. Honestly I think your attitude here is pretty pathetic. Give it a rest. Be silent if nothing else.

Tibb, I think at this point you should cool off.

Calling out Godzillawolf for being angry at the driver isn't really right. Yeah, it's human nature to run but it's also human nature to feel injustice in a situation like this.
The mother of a friend of mine was killed in a hit and run only a few months ago and I feel just as angry as I imagine Godzillawolf feels.

No one knows how anyone will react under pressure like that so saying anything either way is null and void.

To get back on topic: I'm sorry this has happened Godzillawolf. I'll keep your brother in my thoughts and hope he recovers.
