How they feel about Iron: He's not too fond of him :/ Al thinks he's too arrogant and has a loud mouth that he needs to learn how to close once in a while. Especially when he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.
How they feel about Cobalt: He doesn't exactly like Cobalt either, but since he's the quieter of the two brothers, he prefers Cobalt. He's not exactly buddy buddy with him, but he can tolerate him, unlike Iron.
History: Allistair came from a long line of champion racing huskies. His chivalrous nature is what he believes is right, and not due to his upbringing. When he was younger, he was trained to be a racing dog one day during his training, he saw a bunch of older males picking on a female about his age an ran to her rescue. After chasing off the males the female adressed herself as Holly and invited Allistair to go on a walk with her. Eventually, they decided to become mates, but waited on having puppies.Al was brought up to be a lead dog, but Iron yanked thte chance for him becoming one right out from underneath him. He's satisfied with the position he has (and it's probably a good thing since he'll stop what he's doing if he sees a lady or pup being abused) but is still envious of Iron leading. Before leaving for the race, Al and his mate had a litter of puppies. He taught his only son Argo everything he knew about racing and being a gentleman. Before he left, he told Argo to look after his sisters and mother for him. Somewhere along the race, something went wrong and Allistair was never seen again.
Other: I was REALLY looking for an excuse to design Sandy's grandfather x3 So after I found one, I decided to give him a backstory

Name: Trenton
Gender: male
Age: about 3 years old
Breed: 1/4 New Guinea singing dog 3/4 Chinook (hope it's ok)

Personality: brave, stong and intelligent, he knows in every moment what is the right thing to do, he always lived in the wood with his owner so he's not very social and friendly, he prefers stays alone with his owner and in the wood, that he consider a safe place, he doesn't care much about other dogs and he is a fast and strong one.

How they feel about Iron: never cared much about him, Trenton just knows that he's one of the lead dog, likes the fact that he's fast but he would never challenge Iron since he's sure that he would beat him easilly, Trenton doesn't know much about him but respect Iron for his sledding experience.
How they feel about Cobalt: same as Iron, Trenton knows that he and Iron are brothers and he's respectful about him, since Cobalt is bigger than him, he stays always in his place and obeys at his orders.

History: was take by an Indian man when he was only a week old, he doesn't remember his parents or his siblings...the man trained him to make him a bear hound because a bear killed the man's son and wife and when his owner told Trenton this story, the husky decided to revenge his owner's old family too. During a snow stormy the two arrived in Nome where Trenton met an adorable female named Timik...after some days he and his owner were called in the wood with other bear hound because there was a big bear, there Trendton's owner was killed and he was left alone...a woman that lost his husband took him with her and since she was married with a musher, she decided to make him a sled dog, to remember her beloved man; Trenton never liked her but enjoyed running and the sledding so, he tried to do his best, even if he hated his new musher (the woman).

Other: he got his scar on his eye during a battle with a bear, he was atticking the big animal but he was still too young and the bear hitted him in the eye.

I mean a real plot xD A race is not that interesting anymore

Look at that timeline and figure out if it works out. If your character is in any way involved with Beauty_Jenna's character Ren or otherwise and is not old enough to be her GRANDFATHER, then its a NO.

Why not. Throw in the Engrish husky.

Name: Sagashi "Saga" (Sagashi means "Search")

Gender: Male

Age: 3

Breed: Sakhalin Husky

Personality: Saga is a loving dog, but tends to take things very personally or get involved in the problems of others to fix them in an attempt to be accepted into the inner sanctum of dog racing. He never thinks he is harming anyone by doing so, but his desperation for acceptance blinds him.

How they feel about Iron: He feels obligated to revere Iron and his brother Cobalt as great leaders, as his traditional Japanese background has taught him that seniority is one of the most important aspects of a leader. He will do little favors to kiss up to them and takes any compliment as a godsend, thanking them profusely and saying he is not worthy. Naturally, this would get annoying after a while.

How they feel about Cobalt: Same as above, although Saga likes Cobalt better since he's quieter.

History: Saga was originally a show dog in Yokohama, his show name "Hoshi wo Oikakete" (Chaser of the Stars,) but he lost his "show sheen" and was sold to finally live out his life as a husky should. He spent a year and a half as a sled dog in Hokkaido for a tourism agency where he dragged around easily amused tourists with other dogs. He hated it and wanted to be a competitor. He got his chance when the agency went bankrupt. He changed hands and was sent to Alaska. He was paraded around for a while until his experience and exotic breed got him a permanent home.

Other: Saga understands a good amount of English, but speaks minimal amounts of it. He'll sometimes slip into Japanese when confronted, intimidated, or startled.


(Saga is the tan one. The kanji on the medal is "Sagashi", his name.

So what of the rest of us? Just wondering, are our characters already out? I would like to know, so I may not waste him and use him for something else. Or are we still waiting for the end of the contest.

They're not out. I'm just waiting for more entries. Like I said in the rules, feel free to send in a second character if you haven't already.
