Alex shook his hand. He flinched and his finger nails became claws. "Intresting." he said, looking at his hand. "I've got the powers of several animals." he said. "I have strength, speed, agility, a enhanced healing factor, and a few other abilities, including having this scent glands on my palms that can spray musk like a skunk's." he said, showing the glands, which were just pink spots on his hands. "I'm still mutating as well, thus why I suddenly sprouted claws." he said. "Who knows what I will end up becoming, I'm actually looking forwards to seeing what I'll be."

"Intresting," Mike said, "Mine is nothing special, my main one is..." Mike then Shape shifted into Alex, a perfect match, "Shape shifting," Mike said in Alex's voice, then he Shaped shifted back to his origanal form that Alex saw first, "And i have Telekenises, and an Adimantium Bone structure." Mike said, "But that is another story, i will tell you, in privacy, it is a long story that i haven't told anyone yet."

"Adimantium?" asked Alex. "Doesn't one of the X-men, Wolverine I think, have a Adimantium skeleton and claws?" he asked. "I hear that's one of the toughest substances known to man." he said. "How did you end up with it on your bones? It doesn't seem like a mutation." he said. "Unless you're like Collasious, he can make his skin turn into metal."

Mike looked around, "How about we talk about this in my room, i don't feel comfortable talking about it out in the open," Mike said as he began walking inside the building, Mike then opened his door, he then sat down on his bed, "Okay, the reason for the adimantium is that William Stryker, had some left over, left over for my size, not enough for an adult size person, i managed to survive the process, but then he said it failed, it didn't, he throw me back in a cage, but i managed to trick one of the guards into thinking that i was william Stryker, they set me free, and i escaped carefully, and i ended up here, knowing that i have adimantium skeletal structure, i feel that it is both a gift and a curse."

"Well we both have something in common with Wolverine, I have a mutant healing factor and you've got the Adimantium skeleton." said Alex. "I really dislike that Striker fellow." he said. "His superor attude and hatred of mutants." he said. "I hope one day he gets arrested or some." he said. "I'm generally well meaning and laid back but that guy gets me and my grandma worked up." he said. "My powers woke up when I needed to defend my grandmother from thugs, she loved it and was going to send me the Xavier's Insitute but then this closer location opened up so I came here." he said. His canines lengthened as he talked.

Logan gave a small chuckle "Sure sure,I'll do it"He said,it seemed a little funny to him to use his claws,but oh well. He stepped out of the X-jet,looking around. "Lots of kids"

Aisling felt her animal side suddenly take over,it was to much she needed to run farther. SHe ran at her top speed,suddenly pushed down. "Ow!"SHe yelped then looked up,anger across her face."Hey!That hurt"

"Sorry kid"Logan said,really not caring. She was already getting on his nerves. 'Great,I'll probley have to deal with this annoying girl soon'He thought.

Aisling growled "You acutaly hurt me!"She repeated,she had not been hurt for years and he had did some damage when he just stood there. She straighten up,still mad but wanted this male to know her,he seemed very strong to do this. "Well,I guess since your older,I'll have to respect you"

Scott could help but chuckle.Aisling glared,odvisly not wanting Logan to be disrepeacted now. "I'll take my leave then,it stinks here anyways"She said covering her nose,the smell rising up again.

"Wonder whats her problem.."Scott said,Logan nodded

"Maybe a tramatic past." said Storm. "Many mutants have such troubles, you should know that more than anyone." she said. "Antimutant ideals of some humans cause such problems for our kind." she said. "That's what we're seeking to change."

Alex's grandmother called for him. "Gotta go." he said to his new friend. "See you later, hope we're in the same classes." he said, running out to say goodbye to his grandmother, though she wanted to meet the X-men and lead him to where their X-Jet had landed.

"Hello, you must been the famious X-men I've heard so much about." said Alex's grandmother. "I'm Kyla." she said. "I'm not a mutant but my grandson is and I'm proud of him, all gifts are special and I wish other humans could see that." she said. "And I'm also happy to meet heroes such as you. You're a honor to all of Earth's people." she said, extending her hand for a handshake to Logan.

"Well,yeah,right"Logan replied to Storm then came another lady,saying she was grandmother of a kid,a name he didn't catch. "It's nice to see a human really accept someone like us"Logan said,giving some kind of emotion in it.He took her hand for the handshake,being careful not to break her(hes a softie,we all know it^^sometimes).

Scott smiled "Well,thank you,it's finally nice to meet a human that really likes our kind"He said "It's nice to meet you"

Aisling slide down the wall,sitting on the floor wrapping her arms around her legs. She could hear the faint or loud heart beats everywhere,so tempting for her. She took out a small bag,red with a drink that was only sweet to her. her canines before larger,and poked two holes,Aisling hated this,the taste for blood was an awful effect but she had to deal with it.

"Yes, it is wonderful to meet a human that shows compassion to mutants." said Storm.

Kyla nodded, shaking Logan's hand. "My tribe all love mutants, Native American and all." she said. "We think anything born naturally into this word has the right to live like anyother being." she said. "The spirits, whichever spirits you believe in, made mutants, so they have every right to live."

"I'm Alex, glad to meet you." said Alex. He looked at Logan. "I'm particularally glad to meet you, we have a bit in common." he said. "I have a mutant healing factor like you." he said. "And I have trouble with my animal instincts, think you could give me some tips about that?" he asked, noticing something with his feet. He took his shoes and socks off to show his feet, which now had can-like claws. "I'm still mutating, I don't know what I'll end up becoming but I'm looking forwards to finding out."

Logan thought about it after letting go and started to talk to Alex"Animal senses,hm...Yeah,I could give you some tips"He said "Suggeston,learn to control the hardest parts first,then everything else is easy"

"If only more people thought that way." said Kyla. "My grandson is a mutant and I'm proud of it." she said. "I don't see what the big deal is, we have other superheroes, some of which are born with their powers but not mutants." she said. "And you don't see people persercuting them." she said. "So why treat mutants that are superheroes that way?"

Alex nodded. "I see." he said. "So I'd say it'd be the hunting drive." he said. "Isn't there another X-man that's simular to me? Beast I think." he said. "He's stuck in a mutated form I mean."

"I think the hunting stuff would be best to pratice,incase your out with friends and then you can control yourself"Logan said "Oh,Beast,yeah he kindof is to,some mutants will be,but we gett used to it"he glanced to his side and noticed the girl from before,already sened her but kindof freaked out by her expression of nothing. "Back again?"he asked

Scott shrugged "I think people don't want to believe in reality,but were here different but special"He said "Every student is special,always have something that makes them great"

Mike just sat on his bed face buried in his hands, remembering everything that had happened to him on that Island, "God, i should've known better," Mike said to himself, "These powers for me are meant to be used evil?" Mike said, "That's what Stryker said to me, but i'm using them for good."

Storm had walked off to meet other students and overheard Mike. "So Striker got his hands on you too?" she asked. "Don't listine to a word that man every said. He's a single minded zeleot that only wants to kill mutants because his son was one and he brought his son to Xavier wanting him to be 'cured' of being a mutant." she said. "Needless to say, Charles refused but the boy was terribly upset, as can be expected, and ended up enraged to the point he killed his mother, it was Striker's fault but h'd never admit it."

"Well I still don't understand a lick of it." said Kyla. "I'm sorry, I've let time get ahead of me. I've got to get going." she said, looking at her watch. "It was great to meet you."

Alex looked at the new girl. "Hello, I'm Alex." he said, extending his hand for a handshake.

Aisling felt a wave hit her,she could really smell something queit tastie to her. "I suggest you put your hand down,I don't want to kill someone on the first day"SHe said pulling her hand up on her nose as she tried to ignore the smell that was oh so sweet. "Gr.."Aisling growled,her body could never hand holding back for some reason,so then she fainted on the ground.

Logan quickly caught ahold of Aisling. "She fainted for some reason"He said "But what for?"He was now kidnof annoyed yet worried what this girl had,was her powers to much or something?
