hmm ok, i'll gladly start it onward ^^
Deep auburn eyes watched the sun fade behind the snow tipped mountains. A gentle sigh left her parted lips before she glanced around. Slightly flinching as a sharp breeze rummaged through her deep red coat, slowly rustling her bandana. `Where are you Balto..?' She asked herself sadly. He was supposed to be back from the run hours ago. She took a final glance from the window sill before she stood up, leveling the window clasp between her finely tuned fangs and closed the window. "Maybe he's in Town" She said, this time aloud.
Nodding for herself she walked past Rosy and out the doggy door. Her fur sliding along the upper board as she walked towards town. Nose quivered as she felt her pads trench along the snow. Taking a small glance to the horizon as the sky was slowly darkening. Her eyes learned to the old boat, Balto's hideaway and home. She wagged her tail, taking a casual lope to reach her destination.

Kodi, who had been sitting infront of the boiler room, waiting for Balto, saw his mother rush past. He raised an eyebrow, charging after Jenna. The whole time, he wondered where his father was. On the boat, where it seems that his mother was headed? Still gone, out of town? Talking with Kaltag, Nikki, Star, or others? He caught up top her quickly, though, because he was faster than her. He barked between steps,"Hey mom, do you know where dad is?"

Steele took a step closer than Balto "How long do you reckon it will take you to die after you've hit the ground wolfdog?" he sneered.An evil smile crossed his face "Should we find out?" he put his head low "I don't reckon you'd survive the fall,you're not half as strong as I was" he growled.

Kaltag, the young golden colored shanoock startched his ear with his hind leg, his eyes closed as he did it. Than he saw Kodi walking by him, and he raised his eyebrow. Kaltag knew Kodi was Balto's son, so he quickly ran after him to see what he was up to. "Hey, Kodi, watcha lookin' for?"

Steeles blue eyes flashed as he took another step forwards."well wolfdog...Any last words?" he asked with the slightest hint of a sneer.His coat was matted and filthy from years living rough and his face was now scarred but you could still tell it was Steele.He smiled "I've waited years for this" he said "years"

Balto couldn't do anything to defend himself. Steele had him in a very vulnerable position. There was, quite literally, nothing he could do to save himself. He was at Steeles mercy.
He tried not to look directly into those cold blue eyes of his, but closing his eyes didn't help. He couldn't summon the strength needed to speak. All of his energy was being drained from him by his own body weight as he hung on helplessly to the cliff. His shoulders were on fire! Unaware of how much longer he could hold on, he searched desperatly for an escape route. Some means of fighting back.
But, no, there was nothing. Just his weak arms, the appraching Steele, and the cliff which would be his end.

'There goes the hope of him being with Kaltag' Kodi thought sadly. "Oh, hi Kaltag. Would you happen to know where my dad is? I can't find him, he's been gone so long..." Kodi trailed off helplessly, looking into the horizon. A thought dawned on him. What is Balto was in trouble? He saved his dad once, he could do it again. But how...

Kaltag nodded sadly. "No, sorry kid. Havn't seen old Balto." The shinkook said. He was slightly younger than Balto. He shrugged, as he soon saw Kodi lost in though. "Hey, you ok?" He asked, as he sa the red and white husky mezmorized by his thoughts. But then suddenly he felt as he good read his mind. "How are you gonna do it?" Kaltag asked, 'erasing' the first question he asked.

OOC: Well, for one thing, Kodi could definetly protect his mother from Steele. And Nikki, Kaltag, and Star, could also help out Jenna. Then, there is Saba, who could also, somehow, help her mother from Steele. But hey, I'm just... throwing ideas out there...
Kodi, who was too lost in his thoughts to realize Kaltag had basically read his mind, utter out quietly,"Well... first I'd have to round up some friends, like Kirby, Ralph, and Dusty... And then fund his scent, and track him down." Kodi suddenly realized he had forgotten about asking his mother and ran after her once more.
