I think the colorists didn't know what the Sampler tool was xD

Yeah, it's pretty inconsistnt, me saying that as a film colorist.
But with night colors, the colors always change to a gray/blue if they're brown, a purple/blue for pink..... ect, becase the moonlight hits the object and gives it's white/blueish shade.
Sorry if that doesn't make sense xD

Nah, That's what I've been trying to say for a while.

heres an idea.. Does it really matter?

He looks more Brown to me in the original, and more greyish in the two sequels.. but it doesn't really matter, balto could be Yellow and I'd still adore him!

I like to think of Balto as brown. It's the color he was for most of the first movie.

Dunkin--yeah that is true but it gets annoying when some people draw Aleu or Balto dark and light grey, when really he is a dark brown and Aleu is a light tan with dark brown on her^

Well, I don't think it's that big of a problem. People CAN draw Balto, Aleu, others they WAY THEY want. All part of an Artist's view, or way of drawing.

It's becuase he's getting OLDER. The older you get, the weaker your heart, lungs, body, everything gets. Hair expresses that by changing from your hair color to grey. Grey hair also represents stress. This isn't too much of a big deal to me... Kinda sad that you didn't think about him getting older, but meh... Some people do over look things sometimes, I do it a lot. xP
