Damian jummped up and turned aroun"What the f*ck did Slash bring this thing!?"he asked then shook his head."Nevermind lets get out of here!"he said looking at the rest of his gang.Then one of the gang members asked"What about the girl"."Leave her"he siad disapering.

Saya let out a scream then looked around and all the gang members were gone."Please d-don't hurt me"she said starting to cry.

Trident flapped his wings and landed in front of the young girl. He helpped her up gentlly and sniffed her. "You really do have wings don't you?" he asked, his voice strangely calm and unfrightening. "Do not be afraid, Gargoyles do not harm the innocent." he said. "Did those men harm you in anyway?" he asked. A remaining Bones member shot Trident in the back several times but being Trident was made of solid stone, this obviously had little effect. He whipped his tail around and flung the man into a dumpster. "Hang on a moment." he said and closed the lid on the dumpster, bending the metal to make it impossible for the man to open from the inside, trapping him. "That should hold him till the proper athorities can deal with him, seeing as he's on drugs, I am fairly safe." he said. "Now as I was saying, are you alright?"

Saya wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded"I am ok,and yes i do have wings"she said looking at him.She stood back and let her whitesh and bluesh wings out."So your a Gargoyle?"she said looking at him.Then she put her hand out and touched his arm."Your body is cold but warm at the same time."she said a little suprised.

Trident sighed. "Yes, I am a Gargoyle...the last Gargoyle." he said, a deep sadness in the comment. "All the other Gargoyles are gone...I've been alone since the others died out in the middle ages." he said. "But this isn't the place to talk, those criminals may return and I'd have to get my claws dirty." he said. "Can you fly or shall I carry you?" he asked.

Scott was in his office when the phone rang. He recieved word of sounds of a arguement on the other side of town. A large arguement. He hung up. "Lilly, I think we've got a disagreement between our two gangs, we'd best go check it out."

"I can fly"she said letting her wings come out."Lets go"she siad jummping up into the air."If you don't mind me asking well um how did the other Gargoyles die?"she asked looking at him."You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."she said with a little shyness.

"Alright"she said shining her sowrd then she put it away."Think it is the bones and vipers again?"she asked with a little anger looking at Scott.

Trident sighed, taking off. "They died protecting you humans from a terrible evil." he said. "The very evil that is locked inside a tomb deep bellow this city, the gangs have heard tales of this tomb but only of ritches within it, not the ancient horror held captive inside." he said. "I am that tombs guardian and only about 200 years ago did I come to actively guard it, when humans became able that they might one day find it and unleash the horrible entity trapped within it upon the world once more."

"Probably, knowing our luck." said Scott, getting a gun and loading it. "Ready?"

Saya started to very bad"I am sorry i asked"she siad looking down."Uh um what is your name I am Saya"she siad looking at him."Also can i help you guard the tomb? I mean if it is ok.I can fight i just choose not to i don't like fighting"she said looking down again.

"Always"she siad putting her sowrd over her shoulder."Lets go"she said getting on her motorcycle.

"I am Trident." said Trident. "Yes, you may assist me if you wish, I need some company." he said. "And I'd also like to know where I can find jewels." he said. "I need some very fine jewels for...something very importent to me and very privite." he said. "And if I can find the right ones...well lets just say I'll be a very happy Gargoyle and it would be helpful to a lot of people as well...its just privite for now."

Scott got in the side car. "Alright, lets get going."

"Trident that is a nice name"she said looking at him then she said"What kind of jewels do you need?"she asked a little suprised.Then she took out a necklace that had a herts shaped gem on it"Something like this?"she asked.she looked down looks like the cops are going to the site we were just at"she said still looking down.

"Right"she siad putting her helmet on then started off towards the area.

Trident gasped. He looked at the jewel. "Yes, like that." he said. "May I have it if it is not importent to you?" he asked. "If it is importent to you, I couldn't possibly take it of course." he said. "I'm not that driven that I'd take something that mattered a lot to someone." he said. "Though I'll likely need to steal the jewels I need from stores, I won't cause enough damage to hurt the owners, in fact their insurrence will likely cover it." he said.

Once they reached the scene, he saw drugs littering the ground. "The drug dealers sure left in a hurry." said Scott. He heard a banging from a dumpster nearby. He went over and looked it over. "Holy crap!" he yelled. "Look at this!" he yelled, the edge of the dumpster's lid had been squeezed so hard, it was rolled togather, making it impossible to remove without equipment.

Trident nodded and landed on a roof nearby. "Watch." he said. He put his claws into the middle of his chest and grunted as he pulled his chest caivity open, which wasn't all that grusome considering he lacked blood and had organs made of stone, his heart crystal and was glowing. It was actually quite pretty. He panted for a second. He put the jewel to his heart, causing it to glow as well. His heart absorbed the jewel. Upon closer look, it looked like he had two hearts merged togather. Before his friend could look closer, he released his chest and it closed up.

"I don't know." said Scott. "But someone is trapped in there and we're probably gonna need the jaws of life to free them."

Saya looked at how he opened his chest she was shocked to see that he was able to do that."That is it is just i don't even have words to explain it"she said still in shock.

"Its a Gargoyle thing." said Trident. "Being made of stone." he said. "Allows us to do many things most organisms can't."

"Yeah, call the fire department, we need the jaws of life." said Scott. "I think we've got another peranormal thing going on." he said aware of the fact that the two gang leaders were both vampires. "But not even a vampire is strong enough to do this."

"Ah i see.How much longer till we are at the tomb?"she asked looking at him.

Lily called the fire department,then looked at scott."We need to get at least some air in it"she said trying to get holes into the dumpster.

Slash looked at his gang"So.....tell me this again if i am correct a statue came to life and attacked you?"he asked thinking that his gang was going a little crazy.
