Half Ownership Chars

I could've sworn I already posted on this o_O Well, anyway, I think it's a brilliant idea. And Conay's suggestion about having confirmation form both sides is good, too. But what if they just want to edit a few things in the description? Do both parties need to confirm that, as well? It seems annoying to have to do that, but I guess it's only a few clicks of the mouse.

Well, there are two things :

- When I created the fan chars section, I originally intended to add something for writing the relations between the characters (eg : "X" is the father of "Y", where Y is your character, and X is any character - yours, another person or even an official one)
But due to the amount of work to make something like this, I left out this part in order to have the section working.

- Two people owning the same character : well it's the same problem with shared fanarts and especially fanfics.
I think the best way to resolve this, is that one person is the "master", and the other persons have their names quoted and the characters displayed on their profiles ("slaves").
So, one person would create the character and become the master, and enter the usernames of the other persons who own it, so that they confirm this.
But it would be too complex to have both persons having to agree on every changes, so only the "master" will be able to make changes.
For now it's only an idea.

I honestly don't see what hacking does into this.

That's a good idea steet, but what I was saying was, what if they got into the "master's" account. Then they could change it. That's all I was saying.

That's a good idea steet, but what I was saying was, what if they got into the "master's" account. Then they could change it. That's all I was saying.

But they could do it anyway.

What if someone enters your account and delete it?
What if a bomb explosed and destroyed earth?...

Seriously if I was threaten by hacking and this sort of things, I wouldn't do anything and haven't started a site in the first place.
