Alaska roamed the halls, reading a paper with blurred ink "Science..." She shrugged, walking into the classroom.Her black knee-high Converse didn't make a sound but the teatcher still noticed her.How could you not?She was one of the few emo kids in school.The teatcher pointed to a seat next to a handsom copper haired boy.She looked down at her black and neon green nails, like their was somthing important about it..

Jeromy managed to make it in to class on time. "Jeromy, you'll sit across from Alaska." He took his seat. He noticed a new girl from the corner of his eye. Jeromy smiled at her.

"Well, you seem to be different." he said to her. "My name's Jeromy." He started to feel a lump in his throat (no one, except him knows, it's the shifting) so he raises his hand.

"Yes?" The teacher asked.

"May I go to the nurse?" he asked.

"Yes, Alaska, why don't you go with Jeromy. You'll get to see the rest of the school."

Alaska and Jeromy went. She barely spoke as they went. Jeromy broke the silence. "So? What's you're name? I'm guessing it's Alaska since you got up when Mr.Madigin(let's call him that) called up Alaska. So, where you from? Let me guess, Alaska?" He chuckled.

The cooper haired boy saw the new girl,then that sent hit him. The boy was the handsome Edward Cullen,the one who lovedthe decreased Bella sent which was now this girl named Alaska. He nearly clawed the desk,it was dreadful. He couldn't help but glare at her and turn away. Was god trying to toture me?'He thought,his eyes red,which he changed to black with thirst. Edward shook lightly,people would of had to foce their attention well to see it. He was trying badly not to kill her or himself.

Alaska looked at the boy, his paper said Edward Cullen "Nice name.." She smiled, shocked by her name being spoken.Alaska shrugged at her teatcher "Whatever.." She began walkin with Jeromy, looking at him every now and again "I'm from...Texas." She told him, looking at her feet "And nice name." Her purple straight-legged pants defintay popped out...She noticed this because of the glares she was reciving.

Jeromy turned to a hallway leading to an exit and not to the nurse. "I'm not going to the nurse." He said smirking. All of a sudden out in the open football field, appered a brown wolf where there once was Jeromy. "This is why." he explained.

Alaska snickered "I knew it..." She smiled, flashing her fangs "Hmm...guess we are both different.." She shrugged, begining to run towards the woods.As she made her way there she passed by the school window.Edward was sitting there, she placed her palm on the window before zooming off again.

Jeromy hollered at her. "Wait up!" He easily caught up to her, but was out of breath. "I still have to get you back to class, might I add." His voice was choppy as they started running again. "And I wanna be friends. Wanna be friends?" he asked.

Edward flashed his eyes to the window,catching Alaska then looked at Alice by the conor of his eyes. "Alice"He said,his voice very choppy as he felt anger "Keep an eye on me,please"He begged "I don't want it to happen again"He said. It,that was their word for the past just It. That two lettered word would always make him flich hearing it.

Alaska watched Edward before answering his question, he seemed furious around her..like she had ruined his life.
Alaska turned her attention back to her new friend, she smirked "I'm not going back in there..." She shook her head slightly "And ya..I'd love to be friends with you.." She smiled, throwing him on her back and jumping up in a tree.She set him down next to her "You like?The veiw is of the whole town..." She pointed out er house, where Bella use to live...

"Lovely view. But...if I fall, you better catch me." he threatened. He smiled. Now, finally, someone that wasn't normal. That understood him.

Alaska rolled her eyes "Yeah..I'll totaly let you fall!" She said sarcasticly, she the pushed him from the branch to catch him again "Told you!" She giggled, looking at La Push at the right.

Jeromy saw where Alaska's eyes led. "I love La Push. The wind in my....fur." He winked. "One problem about La Push. If I shift while swimming I kinda drown." He said laughing.
