Charlie scratched behind his left ear, he then said. "Hope you enjoy Anchorage." And then grinned as he walked off. Charlie knew what Anchorage was like, the main attraction was the dog fights, he actually loved to fight, but then he stopped grinning, maybe Ben wouldn`t beat all those champs in the ring, what if they took it a little too far and made it four against one.

Benjamin was confused. All of a sudden, his owner came outside and said, "We're staying in Nome. Not too many good fights in Anchorage. We'll go there when there are good enough fights with big prizes, but for now...Nome." Benjamin understood some words. Staying. Nome. "Charlie...I'm staying here!" he shouted and ran after Charlie.

"I don't think my maste-I mean owner is too happy about it. Hear of any fights in Nome?" Benjamin asked. He never considered a cruel abusive man a master.

"Yeah, I`ve got a plan, you hide, and I`ll get your owner out somehow, when he follows me to the dog fights, you follow, then when he stops to get a look at the dog fights, you appear beside me ok, he oughta think about something then."Said Charlie as he scratched on the door.

"Okay." Benjamin was confused but did so. His owner came out.
"What do you want you stupid mutt?!" he complained.

Charlie barked three times and tugged at Ben`s owner`s pants and took a few steps away, then barked three times again.

Charlie led Ben`s owner to a dog fighting place just outside of Nome, from inside there came cheering and some painful yelps and barks of victory.

"Ahh..now I see." said the awe struck owner. Benjamin came from behind and sat by Charlie's side. "Alright. Take me to your owner so we can sign you up...together."

"You don't have an owner? Come with me. I'm feeling like abuse gets no where. No longer abusive. Come stay with Benjamin and I." he grinned thinking back when Ben was sick and he realized he didn't want to be mean to dogs anymore.

Charlie smiled, he finally had a home. "So, my plan works out for all of us, everyone wins." Charlie whispered to Ben.
