As I said on the other thread, I do disagree that for some people, the issue is not passed, as they have deeper concerns than just this prank, its that next year if we see through your prank quickly, you'll go to extreme lengths again to try to convince us of a prank. Another concern at least I have is that if you actually do have an urgent, pressing matter that you have to say on April Fools Day, no one will believe you, no matter what you do, like the Little Boy that Cried Wolf, you made this so realistic, though there were obvious flaws, that we will likely never believe any mod on April 1st again that did see this, thus if you have something importent to say on that day, we won't take it seriously.

I voted could care less because I knew it was all a prank the moment I saw it, and the forums aren't the only thing I go onto on the site. It really didn't affect me all that much.

Hm, along with that, I would like to add, for those who will say "It didn't allow me to talk to my friends"
Well there was a Shoutbox on the main site, and pirveat messages for both forum and main site.

Good points. I think by the poll so far, most people didn't care or were amused, a few were annoyed. And I thank you guys for being respectful of each other, more respectful than in some other places on the site this was being discused.

I thought it was pretty funny, at least for something made up on a whim. It was funny how it got a number of people wondering right off the bat.

honestly, I didn't like the joke. I wasn't even aware of it or played part in it. I was at my grandma's house last week... Anyway, when I saw this, I was a little annoyed. To me, I don't understand how this was a prank. To me a prank is well, like my Beta Balto source. All in all, the prank was lame.

I was alittle anoyed becasuse I was getting ALOT of pms saying "go reply on the rp's" because I'm in so many, and I couldn't do a thing

I hated it, mostly because they actually fooled me. I was really embarrassed when I was told it was just a prank.

. . . uh, I think I was spared by all of the April Fools drama. Didn't go online at all that day, mainly because of that virus the news was talking about. Also, I had a feeling there would be tons of drama and pranks . . . not exactly a "surprise prank" type of person.

And I remember in previous years, the pranks here were rather lame and obviously fake. One can try, but after a while, one can notice a prank from the real stuff.

I understand all points made but I particularally find Mightybalto1925's reaction intresting as he/she is a mod so that's very intresting to me. Anyway, I think quite a lot of people missed the pranks as well, which is understandable.

Because you didn't like the prank and are a mod. That shows the mods didn't all like the prank, it might be cause as you said, you weren't involved in it. It shows that for the most part, the mods that were involved aren't feeling the same things as the ones that were. I just found it intresting to see a diffrent point of view from a mod. I did like your prank a lot better, the Beta thing, that's what I thought a prank should've been like.

Just goes to show that not all of us mods think alike. Yeah, the Beta was good and I knew it would be. The april fool goal is to "fool"someone. Locking posts is far from fooling.
