((Ok, where IS Dawn right now? Also, is Riley the Lucario I am?))

(Yep, plus Dawn, Ash and Brock would be in the Pokémon Center which will shortly be under attack.)

The Lucario, Riley, quickly grabbed the small bag of chocolate chips from Danny, opening the bag and putting a miniture chocolate chip cookie into his mouth. He chewed, and soon the yummy sweet had went down his throat. He than grabbed another out of the bag, repeating the same cycke over and over again. He had a few left over cookies than he thought he would, and thrust two of the three left over cookies into his mouth, and keeping the other one in his hand. He reahced his paw threw the bar, handing the cookie to Danny.

((Ok, sorry for short post. I couldnt thhink of what to type.))

(I know, I may wait for the others to catch up though and by the way, you can make this Lucrio speak just like the movie if you wish.)


Danny blinked in suprise and spun around as Michael appeared from what seemed like nowhere, freezing in fear, would he give away his secret!? Though he relaxed when he realised the other was going to keep this quiet. "Thanks Michael, I appreciate it" He said softly and gazed at Riley and smiled, taking the cookie from him for a second before shaking his head and taking Riley's paw through the bars and placing the cookie in his hand again. "You keep it Riley, you need to keep your energy up" He smiled.


Turning to Michael, he nodded and slowly pulled the pokeballs from his belt. "Yeah, I got five of them....they were really scared when I got them, I think they thought I was going to hit them" He whispered softly and threw the five pokéballs in the air and watched them burst open.

A young Totodile poked out of the first, along with a small Gible, a Growlithe, an Eevee and a Teddiursa. They all looked at Michael in fear, their young bodies bruised and beaten slightly.


"Hey, you guys don't have to worry, he's a friend" smiled Danny and the Teddiursa ran into Danny's chest and clung to him, along with the others, the poor things trembling slightly. "Hey, it's alright" smiled Danny softly and cuddled his Pokémon gently.

"Team R-5, report to the drop off sector, mission Clear Out will begin shortly" came an overhead voice and Danny sighed loudly.


"Okay guys, return" He said softly and held the pokeballs out, his new Pokémon dissapering in red lights. "Guess that's us...we should probably get going" He said softly and placed his cap over his dark brown spikey hair. Turning to Riley, he smiled slightly.


"I'll be back tough guy, hang in there" He smiled and quickly began to run off towards the drop off section with a sense of guilt and uncertainty lingering.

= 2 hours later =

Night had fallen over the Pokémon Centre, the inhabitants either resting or in their rooms. Several Rockert grunts silently made their way through the back rooms.

"Alright Machoke, break the door down!" whispered one of the older grunts and the Pokémon nodded with a grunt, before slowly ripping the door off it hindges, leading them to a room filled with Pokéballs. Danny remained silent around the other grunts, a look of uncertainty and shame evident in his young eyes.

Micheal looked on, he kept note of every little thing. He knew he needed to make them mess up and not steal all these pokemon. But he also needed to keep Danny from getting caught, he wasn't like the others, he was diffrent. "Wait." he said. "We need to check for an alarm, this is too easy." he said.

OOC: I'm playing my pokemon seprate from my humans, though only I won't color code them.

Pikachu's ears twitched, he wasn't in his ball so he could hear the break in. He nudged Ash, Dawn, and Brock awake. "Pika! Pika!" he yelled, trying to get their attention.

Ash stretched. "What is it Pikachu?" he asked. Pikachu gave several urgent motions to the door. "Something wrong buddy?" he asked.

Brock jumpped awake. He trusted Pikachu's instincts greatly. "Something must be wrong." he said and got his pokeballs. Crogunk let himself out and ran. "Crogunk! Come back here!"

"It doesn't feel right guys, maybe this is a trick" muttered Danny and looked around, his Totodile out and looking around nervouly, clearly sensing someone was coming.


"What is it Toto?" He asked and his Pokémon suddenly jumped and hung it's head as if expecting to be in trouble but Danny just knelt down and smiled, patting his head. "Don't be so nervous, come on, you can tell me, did you hear something?"


Totodile looked up and nodded and Danny looked at Michael. "I think we're about to have company, we can't carry all these pokéballs back, we have to get out now!"


"What? No way! Come on boys! Keep grabbing them Pokéballs!" snapped one of the other grunts, ignoring Danny as Totodile stared at the corner, tensing and knowing someone was coming.

Crogunk jumpped over Danny and used Poison Jab on the grunt stealing Pokeballs. He then turned and hit his Machoke with Brick Break in the head.

Brock skidded to a stop. "Team Rocket, I should've known." he said. "Get away from the pokeballs." he said as Crogunk jumpped back to him.

Micheal looked at Brock and reconized him. "That's Brock, he's a gym leader." he said.

Ash shook Dawn. "Wake up Dawn, somethings wrong."

OOC: Is it ok if at one point in this RP Brock's Crogunk evolves? I think its strong enough to at this point.

Danny's eyes widened as he saw the Crogunk attacking the Rockets, frozen in fear, he watched as his friends, his only family fall to the ground. Standing up tall, Danny eyes' burnt with determination, he was small and looked he should be with his mother rather then with Team Rocket.

"Alright! That's it! Totodile! Let's show him what happens when he messes with my friends!" he yelled and Totodile, getting over the shock, jumped to it's feet, chest sticking out ready to fight.


"Michael! Get them out of here! I'll hold them off!" Danny quickly called, turning his attention to Brock and Crogunk. "Go Totodile! Use Water Gun!" yelled Danny and Totodile took in a deep breath and shot a powerful blast of water striaght at Crogunk.

Dawn woke up at the sound of all of the commotion. The first thing she saw was people... bad people. She quickly got up and stood up, seeing Crogunk do attacks on the strange humans. She reached into a backpack she had decided to carry around, and grabbed a random pokeball from her bag. She looked at it, and hoped it would be her best one that she had.

((umm... has piplup or buneary evolved. From what I remeber in the show that Piplup was kinda weak. Also, does Buneary still have a crudh on Pikachu?))

(Piplup has not evolved, Buneary still has a crush and hun, try and keep the posts longer.)

"Use Poison Sting Crogunk." said Brock, Crogunk shot a stream of purple needles from his mouth, forcing back the Water Gun. He could see something in Danny's eyes that he normally didn't see in Team Rocket members. "We're not going to let you steal all those pokemon." he said. "I can tell from its looks that totodile has suffered enough already and I honestly don't want to hurt it." he said. "But I'm not letting you get away with those pokemon." he said.

Pikachu ran up.

Micheal helpped the other grunts out but made sure, though made it look like oversight, that the pokeballs were forgotten in the vault. "Danny, come on." he said. "We're out numbered." he said, watching Ash and Dawn head there way.

Danny's eyes widened as he saw Totodile's attack being knocked back at the Poison STing which broke through and headed straight for Totodile. Acting on instinct, he grabbed Totodile and turned him around, taking the hit for him, yelling out as the poison conencted with his body, causing him to grit his teeth. Horrified by what his trainer had done for him, Totodile could only watch as Danny rose to his feet, still holding his Pokemon in his hands.


Turning around to face Brock, eyes blazing with that same fire, that same stubborn, determination that Brock would have seen another trainer he knew very well. Hearing Michael's voice, Danny nodded weakly, still ignoring the pain in his back from the attack, he dashed out as fast as he could, praying they were not followed as they dissapered.

Nurse Joy rushed through the doors quickly, eyes widening at the sight before her. "Oh my goodness, is everyone alright?" She asked, noticing the broken door and the three trainers. "What happened here?" She asked, looking at the broken door again and at the back room, sighing in relief as she realised none of the Pokémon were taken.

It would only be seconds later before Office Jenny ran through to the scene of the crime, having been patrolling nearby, her eyes widening. "Oh not again, Nurse Joy were any of the Pokémon taken?"

"No, thanks to these three kids, nothing was stolen..."

Danny smiled weakly as he felt his eyes fluttering slightly, the pain making him feel slightly weak, but he nodded anyway. "I'll be okay, as long as Totodile is safe, that's all that matters" He muttered gently, smiling down softly at his sadened Totodile, who licked Danny's cheek gently and nuzzled up to him, causing the young boy to smile and cuddle the Pokémon tightly.


Back at the base, Danny sighed softly and leaned back against the wall, Totodile on his shoulder. "This is crazy, what is Giovanni planning, its the third time he's attacked the same Pokémon Centre...."
