Ana whimpered and ran back to Kodi. "Sorry big brother." she said, licking his nose.
"We'll be fine." said Tera.
Sable licked Scout's nose. "Good luck." she said. "I hope to see you with another daughter by the end of this."

"S'kay, kiddo," Kodi said, getting up and ruffling Ana's fur. "I;m fine."
"Yeah, I hope so too," Scout said. "I promise that you'll be the first dog she meets if we bring her back."
"Bye, Daddy," Danielle said, nuzzling her father before walking inside Sable's house.

"But someone will have to go tell Jenna." said Balto. "Mind doing that Kodi?"
Ana giggled and straightened out the fur.

"Mom doesn't know we're leaving yet?" Kodi asked. "I though you told her."
Scout said good-bye to Sable and his daughters and walked to where Kodi and Balto were packing for the trip.

"She doesn't know the pups are coming." said Balto.
Ana ran to her grandfather. "Hi grandpa!"

"Right," Kodi said, running towards his mother's place. "Hi, Grandpa!" he said to Scout as he passed him. He went to the back door and into the doggie door. "Mom!" he called, waiting for Jenna to come into the kitchen. He didn't want to wonder the house looking for her.
"Hey, pups," Scout said with a smile. "Well, I guess I can't really call you two pups anymore, can I?"

"Sometimes we forget we're not so little anymore." said Ana. "We're still little though." she said. "Compared to our older family."
Jenna walked into the room. "Hello Kodi, how are you?"

"Don't woory. You two will grow up to be just as big us them, and just as beautiful," Scout said with a smile. "You've already grown so much since I've known you."
"Hey, Mom. I;m fine," Kodi said. "There's been a small change in plans. Dad is letting Maria and Ana come with us to see Aleu."

"Well at least we're growing." said Ana. "I was afraid we'd stay little."
Jenna chuckled. "Figured, your dad is a sucker for his pups." she said. "I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to see their big sister too." she said. "I'll tell your siblings, get going, don't want to keep them waiting." she said, nuzzling him. "And tell Scout I said hi."

Scout chuckled. "Now, what would have giving you that idea."
"Dingo," Maria said. "He told us that we would be little squirts forever."
"Will do, Mom," Kodi said, nuzzling him mother. "Well, see ya!" he called as he ran out the doggie door and back to his father, grandfather, and little sisters.

"We shouldn't of believed him, loves to joke." said Ana.
Balto chuckled at his offspring and got some extra jerky for the pups, they were dragging a small sled this time.

"Yeah, I;m kinda glad he's not coming with us," Maria said. "Kodi at least doesn't play pranks on everyone."
"Thanks, Sis," Kodi said as he trotted closer to his family. "Glad to see how much I;m loved."

"Kodi, mind helping me secure this food?" asked Balto.
Ana licked his brother's nose lightly.

Kodi smiled at his two sisters before going to Balto to help him. "Mom says that we should get outta here soon so we make good time," he said as he pulled in some ropes to secure the food.
"Your mother's right," Scout said. "We probably should head out as soon as we can."

"Yeah, I think she's right." said Balto. "But we need to make sure we've got everything." he said. Checking. "We don't have any tomatoes." he said.
