Animation Source Forums

I see.

Ok here's a twist, see if you call follow:
Generally, the award has been given to those RP's that have established themselves past the beginning. That means past the point where you collect willing RPers to take up characters for the story. Among RPers, that part can be considered a "do or die" type of thing.

There are ways to avoid the 'die' at this point, but that's all based on what the author does to requite members. One of the reasons why some RP's 'die' is because the author lets the RP sit there, hoping for people to see it, get interested, and join. While it works sometimes, especially with the more popular RPers, it's not a good way to go with so many topics and posts being created in a day; a slow topic will get swallowed.

To avoid this: Advertise your RP, for starters. By that I do not mean using the title of the RP with something like NEED RPers. One of the best ways is to use you signature. Put a link in your signature, and everywhere you have post, you have a link. But don't be dull, add color and use bold; it catches the eye (being careful of not overdoing it or using animated images because you could end up breaking a rule we have).

Another way is to send invitations to members via PMs. If this, you're personally inviting people and giving them some attention instead of using and generic invitation aimed at everyone at once. Trust me, people like this and most of them will join.

And I went a little long. I hope these tips will help you and anyone who sees this post gather members so that your group can get to more important and interesting matters.

again thank you, i will try this, ofcorse it will be a challenge cuz im actually a beginer but if given a chance im sure people wood get me.

New awards posted.

With the introduction of the forum update and the new Tail Spin section, the system the awards run on have changed.

New award is posted.

The current term (June 26 to July 10) is canceled.

Is this permantly canceled?

RP Honor Awards will resume around the 28th of August (maybe sooner or later - it all depends on availability).

Will these awards ever resume?

We do indeed plan to resume the awards. Our current plan is to have it coincide with the Sourcecast. With that plan, the awards are dependent on what happens with the Sourcecast.

I have recently announced a little update as to the condition of the Sourcecast.

Watch the official Sourcecast topic for the latest news.

Alright, I know Black Rose only asked this two posts ago, but it's been quite a while, and I would appreciate a more current answer.

Are the awards ever going to resume?

Yes, I'd like to know the same thing. I know my post is just after Windancer's but... it's almost a year difference so... x3
Just a question. I don't mean to be a bother.
