There is a simple explaination, there are always gonna be psychopathes but I'm talking about your average human, most of us aren't the battle hungry peoples of eons past anymore.

What I meant by this, I got cut off by the school bell, is that genocides aren't nearly as common as they once were. Long ago, there were civiliations that would conquer lands and kill all the inhabitants just to inspire fear. That was far more common back then, the Assayrians, Mongels, Huns, and many others did it, today, genocides are far less common. I respect your ideas, I'm just explaining mine. And there is a possible replacement for nuclear power, fusion power. We just need a way to contain the reaction long enough to stablize and we'll have the power of a miniture sun, near limitless power. We know how to make the reaction, we just need to find a way to efficently contain it, which is possible in the next 50 years.

My reason for believing humans are getting less violent is that while some humans are psychopaths, the majority of humans aren't killers, at least not as many as there once were. They reason being we don't need to be killers, back then it was kill or be killed, there are still seneroes like that today but there aren't as many.
