Dev quickly grabbed his black coat and quickly slung it over one shoulder, he was already late and he knew Shay would be waiting for him but he needed to make sure he didn't forget anything. This very well could be his last time in this small apartment. Dev yanked open the door but turned to take one last look at his home. I'll make sure to give Shay the key. he thought she might want to come here when i'm gone... Dev tried to push away the thought of saying goodbye to Shay but he knew that it would have to happen soon. Dev was out in the cold of the night in less than a couple seconds. He wanted to get so Shay fast, and there she was, just in front of him. The wind whipped the red tie that hung loosley at his neck as he approached Shay. "Sorry I'm late," he said as he approached the cold looking girl and offered a dashing smile as an apology.

Dev smiled as she wrapped her arms around his waist, he then pulled her in closer, wrapping his arms around her back and putting his own coat over her small shoulders in the process. "It's cold out here, little girl, you're gonna get sick." Dev said, pulling away slightly so he could reach down and have their lips meet. He was didn't want to tell Shay that he had to leave, but if he waited, it would only make things worse.

Lucy kept in her home,watch the chaos rise every where. She was in much thought for herself,no weather to control her this day. She toched the glass of the window,drink in hand swirling the red around. 'It's very scary now,what will vampires do?'She thought hidding back in the darkness.

Haru was outside cuasing trouble,making her so called friends run from fake frogs,snakes,and spiders. "To easy"She sighed gathering up the stuff. "No more fun"She said knowing they won't trust her any more.

Dev felt a twinge of guilt as Shay pulled him closer. It's for the best...she's in so much danger... Dev thought as he leaned farther into the kiss, pulling Shay closer to him and reminding himself painfully that this could be their last kiss. That thought alone made a lump in his throat as he ran a hand over Shay's soft cheek, his other arm wrapped securley around her waist.

Serenity tucked her strikingly white hair deeper into the hood of her jacket. She pulled down the sleeves to cover her hands and the hood to cover her face. If any human so the deathly paleness of her skin, the silveryness of her hair, or the dull and unnatural gray of her eyes, she would be captured and working before she could blink. She was sitting inside an alley with her knees tucked to her chest. Maybe if she was still enough, she would just melt into the shadows.

Luna sat on her bed, flashlight in one hand, book in the other. This book, just like the many others strewn across every space in her room, was about vampires. There were so many legends. How many were true? Human kind barely knew anything about this species yet. It was a good thing experiment were going on at that very moment. But it wasn't enough. Life in the apartment wasn't any better than before, but there was one less pair of feet running about. And if it was the last thing she ever did, Luna was going to kill the vampire who killed that little girl.

Nessa was asleep, curled up in her neatly done bed in her clean and organized room. She was completely any aware of any vampiric activity going on outside of her own dream. Her unconsious mind was thinking up all kinds of possibilties if vampires and humans lived in peace. Maybe she would find love among them?

Dev slowly pulled away from Shay, even though he didn't want to. "Shay..." he started. "I-I have to t-tell you something..." he said, bowing his head so she couldn't see his face. He held both her hands in front of him, squeezing them ever so often. As he waited for her to reply he leaned forward and kissed her forhead, staying there for a long time.

Dev's eyes widened in disbelief. "No no no! baby of course not! no..." Dev said, pulling her into a hug. He burried his head in her hair and slowly breathed in. "I would never cheat on you...I love you..." Dev whispered. He waited a minute or two, he was content to stay here in this silence but he had to break it. "I'm leaving..." he said simply.

"Shay..." Dev said, whincing as he felt the lump in his throat grow. He clutched onto Shay in return and said "I'm sorry Shay but I have to...I can't stay here...they'll kill me..." he said. "They know about me. I need to go find others like me, we can stop them. I don't want to leave you Shay...but I have to..."
