Zira had a smile filled with hate and evil on her face. She was thinking how good of a killer her son would make, and taking over the Pridelands after killing Simba. 'Finally...A miracle...' She said in her head. She watched Scar and Riddick walk together.

As Scar and Riddick had gone, Nuka, the oldest cub, walked up to Zira.
"Ma? Why can't I BE the one to kill Simba and take over Pride Lands? I mean, I'm the oldest,astrongest, and obviously the smartest!" Nuka complained, and sat down on the ground besides his mother.
"SMARTEST?? Hahah! You couldn't even kill an antilope even if it would run over you!" laughed Vitani, Riddick and Nuka's sister, who had just walked out of the den.
"Shut up, Vitani" Nuka growled at his sister, and then looked back at Zira.

"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!" Zira demanded. She let out a small growl, and said. "Riddick is already stronger than most of the cubs we've had, and he's got the looks to be a killer. He's large, he's got long fangs, long claws, and evil eyes." Zira said. "As for you Nuka...You...Will never be a killer..."

Nuka snarled slightly.
"But ma, I'm the OLDEST! Doesn't that mean anything??" he complained, looking at his mother.
"I mean sure, Riddick's big, but has he got the brains like I do?" Nuka snarled, still trying to get Zira to change her mind.

Nuka looked confused, and stared at his mother.
"Small??" he gasped, and turned away from her.
"I can't believe my ears...SMALL?!" he snapped, then walked away mumbling something.
Vitani looked after her brother, and shook her head.
"He's never gonna learn, isn't he?" she said smiling and turned to her mother.

"Ugh!" Zira grunted as he said this. When she heard Vitani, she shook her head in agreement. Zira growled when she saw Simba's mate, Nala sitting on Pride Rock. "That could be ME!!" She yelled.

Vitani laughed, and then looked towards Pride Rock, and saw Nala sitting there. She let out a slight growl, then turned back to her mother.
"Don't worry, mom. We'll get Pride Rock to ourselfs some day" she then said.

Zira watched Vitani say this. "Someday..." She sighed. "Now you go along and find something to do." Zira told her daughter. Zira returned to her part of the den, and circled around it, getting readyfor a nap. She lay down, and closed her eyes. In about five minutes, she was asleep.

Meanwhile Scar was walking around the Outlands with Riddick. Suddenly he stopped, and told Riddick to wait. He told him to sit down, and looked at him.
"Son..I'm going to tell you something I should have told you years ago" Scar began, and sat down in front of Riddick, who looked at him with a confused look on his face.
"You have asked me many times about how and why our family was banished here. And the reason is because I killed Simba's father, and your uncle, Mufasa" Scar said, with a calm look on his face.
Riddick looked shocked, and couldn't believe his ears.
"What?? Why? Dad, why would you kill uncle-Mufasa?!" he asked, staring his father deep in the eyes. Riddick knew his father was evil, but he'd never have believed that he's actually killed someone...from their own family.
Scar remained the calm face, and looked at his son.
"I did it, because I wanted to take over Pride Lands. And since Mufasa was the king, I obviously had to get him out of my way" he told Riddick, and continued:
"And I would have killed Simba aswell, if Mufasa wouldn't have managed to save him before he died". While he said that he let out a slight growl.

Simba sat with Nala for the next ten minutes. They watched the Pridelands silently. When Simba looked at the Outlands again, he could see Scar with his son. He let out a deep roar, that anyone around could hear. Every time Simba looked at Scar, he remembered when Scar killed his father, and that made him want to kill him even worse.

Riddick stared at his father, and didn't actually know what to think about everything he had told him so far.
"But dad...Uncle Mufasa was your BROTHER. How could you kill him?? Didn't you love him?" he asked, with a slightly sad tone in his voice.
Scar started to smile slightly, as Riddick asked him this question.
"Riddick, you silly boy. Of course I loved my brother, but you see.." Scar paused for a moment, and put his left paw around Riddick and pulled him closer.
"Sometimes, when you want something really bad, you're gonna have to do thing you may regret later in your life" he continued, and looked at his son.
Riddick looked at Scar with a confused look on his face, and then lowered his head a little bit.
"Well...Do YOU regret what you did?" he then asked with a sweet, cub's voice.
Scar was going to say something, but this time he didn't find an answer. He looked at his son, deep in the eyes, and then replied:
"Well, son...I'm afraid I can't answer that" he said, turning his head away.

Zira woke up from her very quick nap. She yawned, and walked out of the den. She looked around the land, searching for her mate and son.She couldn't see, smell, or hear them, so she took a walk around, and finally found them again, at the cliff from which she found Scar this morning. "Soo...What're we talking about now?" She asked sarcastically, then sat down beside her mate, and leaned on him.

Scar turned his head towards his mate, and smiled.
"I just told our son the reason why we were banished here" he replied, and looked at Riddick who looked at both his parents, with a slightly frightened look on his face.
