Delilah's blue eyes went big as she saw a blakc and white husky approching her, one step at a time. Her white tail twitched, and her b alck nose sniffed. When the black and white husky said "Why hello there, she imideiently got up and backed up some more. When he asked her who she was, she never awnsered. When he had remarked her as 'beautiful,' she gasped. She stopped bakcing up aginst the wall, for she was aginst the edge of it. Delilah breathed deeply, saying her name in one word, "Delilah." Than she waited for the husky to do something.

Steele slowly walked with her as she backed up. "No need to be afraid." He reassured he, then licked his pearl teeth. He listened to her when she told him her name. "Delilah? Huh?" He said in a charming voice. He curled his tail up against his back, and went to lick the female's nose.
Tersh woke up from his long, deep sleep, and could smell a new smell in the land. It was a dog. "Hmm?..." He said, then ran towards the smell. "It's beside Delilah's den!" He said to himself. He walked up to a rather large, black and white dog trying to win Delilah's heart. "Who is this!? " He demanded to know. He looked at Delilah for the answer.

Delilah backed up slowly, but bumped up aginst the wall. She was trapped with this strange husky, and she didnt feel safe. She than saw Tersh come up behind her and the strange husky. She breathed sigh of relief and listened to Tersh;s questions. Though, she really didnt know what she would need to say. Thn it came to her. "A dog that's a freak that is trying to kiss me." She awnsered.

Steele's tail flew in between his muscular white legs, and tucked under his belly. "Uhhh?...." He hummed outloud, then grabbed Delilah's fuzzy neck. He tried to pick her up and take her away, but a large force slammed into him. He tumbled to the snowy ground, then looked up. The large wolf had knocked him to his side.
"Think you can just take her away, do you?" Tarsh said sarcastically. He had a determined look on his face that meant he knew he could win. He turned back to Delilah and smiled. "Go back to my den and let Jenni care for the wound on you back. I'll ake care of this bozo." He said, then looked back at the large dog. "Who are you? Why are you here?!...Anyways, get out of here, now!" He snarled. He raised his lips up, and showed all his smooth, pearl white teeth.

Delilah did a small whimper as Steele tried to pick her up, but soon she was limping out of the cave, obeying Tersh's command. Al though she didnt feel like walkng all the way twords the den. She just sat about a quarter distence away from her den, just sitting there.

Steele, hearing the questions given to him, ran to the nearby city. It was Nome. He remembered about Balto and the others. "Oh great...I've got nowhere to go." He sighed, then ran down the side of the woods that lined Nome, hoping to find somewhere to sleep.

Tarsh, brething heavily, looked back at Delilah. "Are you okay?" he asked concerned. Her looked at the large pawprints that trailed to the dog's exit. "Why do you think he was here?" he asked himself, then went to the prints, and smelled them. "He's a dog!" he said surprised. "Why would he want a wolf?" He looked at Delilah, and shrugged his sholders.

Deilah watched as the black and white muscular dog ran off, his brown leather collar going with him. Delilah, a younger white with a black patch on her, shrugged to Tersh, and just said. "Don't know." Though, she probably would defenityly ant to know if he came back... most male dogs were going to go after a another female dog, not a female wolf.

"Yeah..." Tersh said puzzled. " You 'spose it has something to do with Balto, Aniu's son? He used to be an enemy with a dog he said was black and white dog...I think that may have been him." Tersh walked beside Delilah as she left to go to his den. "Did he do anything to you?" he asked.

Delilah shrugged once more. "Balto? You mean that wolf-dog? Di you ever hear his daughter took over Nava's pack?" She asked, trying to get the subjet away from this so called 'Steele.' She sat down on her hauches, flicking back her black ear. She looked down at her white paws. "I though I was alone.... not wante with a male." Delilah said, her white tail gracfully swishing in the air. Her dark blue eyes flifckered open, then closed quickly after that.
