After a few agonizing moments, the pup coughed and started breathing. She started crying like the other pups.
Jenna and Rosie's parents all let out a sigh of relief as they watched the little pup breath.

"Balto, bring her over her please." said Jenna, tired but wanting to see the pup she'd almost lost, to cuddle it and make sure it was ok. She looked at the other four and smiled weakly.
Copper was nursing from her mother, oblivious to the drama that had just happened.
Boris walked in, Rosie's parents knew him, they knew he was Balto's 'father' so they let him in unopposed. He put his wing on Balto. "They are being adorable pups Balto but that last one was almost giving me a heart attack."

"I am having a suggestion for our little merical right here." said Boris, looking at the runt of the litter. "Dika, it comes from a Cherikee word for small." he said.
Jenna smiled. She nuzzled the little runt. "Its ok, calm down girl." she said to the pup, calming her down, despire the fact she couldn't hear her mother. She looked up. "I like that name."

Jenna checked the pups. She pointed out the males and females to her mate. Copper and Dika were both girls, there was a third female and two boys. She giggled as Copper curled around her baby sister protectively, sensing Dika was tiny and fragile. "They're already smart, huh?"

Balto listened to Jenna's comment. He looked at a white and orage female, than to a rusty brown one, then to the tinniest one. "How about for the girls, its Muffin, Copper, and Dika." The wolf-dog replied. His golden colred eyes hisned as he looked down at his new-born pups.

Jenna nodded. "She does look sweet like a muffin." she said, smiling. She looked at the little gray and white male. "How about Smoky for him? That gray fur reminds me of smoke...where did the gray fur come from?" she asked, startled.

"Brown is a shade of orange." said Jenna, nuzzling the pups. "I like it, he seems like he's going to be a friendly little puppy." she said. She rested her head on Balto's back. "I'm glad they're all ok...but giving birth sure is a painful thing."
"That is being why birds are laying eggs." said Boris with a chuckle. "Less painful."

Jenna giggled.
Copper climbed up on Balto's paw, not knowing where she was.
OOC: How about Balto goes back to the boat to get something and finds Luke like that?

Balto sighed as he glanced at Jenna, than to one fo the upps who was trying to get up his leg. Then he looked back to jenna and smiled. "Jenna, im gonna go get my blanket. I can donate it to the upps." he said, walking out the door. Once he got to the beach, the sand felt good on his paws. He bounced up onto the ramp of the boat, and scurried up on it. He walked into the main room of the baot, and saw his baby blue blanket. He lifted it up with his mouth, and udnerneeth it, he saw a baby coypup.
