Howl nodded, laying beside Lance. "So... uhh... whats up?" He asked. He wasn't sued to talking wiht someone, he was normally a loner.

Lance smiled. "Nothing much, just going to go see Emmy."

Streek had only released a little musk, as a warning, he hadn't actuelly sprayed. Seeing her not stop, he sprayed a yellowish stream of musk from the base of his tail, hitting Rita right in the face. He then realized who it was. "Oops! Sorry Rita! I didn't know it was you!" he yelled, apologaticly.

"You better be sorry!" Rita yelped.

Howl nodded. "Me to. Hopefully shes here soon."

Streek put his paw over his nose, even Skunks hated their own smell. "Yeah, I am." he said. "Sorry for stinking you up." he said. "Hopefully Emmy has some tomato juice with her." he said. "She normally does, just in case Smudge gets skunked." he said.

Lance nodded. "Yeah." he said. He sniffed the air and grimoused, putting his paw over his nose. "Phew! Well someone got skunked."

"And I think its coming this way." Howl said, burring hsi nose under hsi paws.

Rita sighed and headed twords where Emmy usually meeted her animal friends.

Hikaru just laughed and smiled as he shook his head and walked into the morning clearing with his other companions. "Well, aren't we all a bit active today," he greeted. "I wonder where Emmy is though." He looked up at the sky as he added, "It is getting awfully late..."

"Dang it!" Emmy cried out as she quickly grabbed her stuff. "I'm already late... Come on, Smudge!" she called out to her adorable black lab. "We need to get going." She then opened up the door to wait for her dog to come along.

Lance nodded. Sometimes he hated being a wolf with a sensitive nose. "You smell the skunk too?" he asked, having his paw still over his nose. Humans could smell skunk spray a mile down wind, canines had a more acute sense of smell.

Streek whimpered. "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to spray you." he said. He got some water and washed the stinging spray from her eyes. "Better?"

Hikaru just rolled his eyes and continued on towards another clearing for his meal. He usually didn't mind the skunk smell from time to time, but he did mind his spacing with others around. He needed to clear his mind, and the only way to do that was to be around Emmy...

"Yep I do." Howl said. Thsi was really bugging his nose.

Smudge barked and bounded out the door hapiily

Emmy sort of smiled and laughed before closing and locking the door behind her and started the short walk down to the animal reserve. "I bet they'll all be happy to see me once I get there... Come on, Smudge," she added, starting to jog on down the street and onto the sidewalk once again.

Lance saw Rita. "Peeyew! Rita how did you get skunked?" he asked, gaging.

Streek walked over to Hikaru. "Hey buddy, how are you today?" he asked. "I accdently sprayed Rita."

Smudge ran at Emmey's side. her legs pumed as she ran.

Hikaru smiled and nodded in greeted at the skunk. "Hello there, Streek," he replied. "I'm doing well..." He then took a few whiffs of the sir before sighing again. "How are we eve going to contain ourselves around here... but, it is your nature, so I don't blame you-" He tehn cut off and perked his ears, hearing the familiar footsteps once again. "She's here!" he cried out, bounding away to impatiently meet her.

Emmy walked the rest of the way and entered the forest area, collapsing and conpletely out of breath once again. "Boy, am I beat," she said, grabbing a water bottle from her bag. "And why do I smell skunk?..."She then sighed before shaking her head and adding with a smirk, "Streek...that little stinker..."

Street walked up to Emmy and whimpered, showing he was sorry he'd sprayed Rita. He looked to Smudge. "I sprayed Rita by mistake." he said. "Emmy's right, I'm a little stinker." he said, jokingly.

Lance barked to Emmy and pointed at Rita with one paw, using the other to cover his nose.

Emmy just smiledat the poor animals. "Aww, poor Rita," she said. She looked around and smiled as she got an idea. "Luckily I've brought some tomato juice. Rita, you come with me to get washed. the rest of you...just keep cool here, okay?" And with that, she picked up a couple of cans of her tomato juice and motioned to Rita while Hikaru just sighed and looked up at the trees, also enjoying the company of the songbirds...
