"Sleeping on my arm," He said, his vioce cracking, the pain was killing him. He dug in his pocket and came out with a pill bottle, and opened it, popping three pills.

He screamed and his knees buckled. "Shay, SHAY! STOP!"

"Oh no, Shay, I thought it was just a bruise!" He yelled sarcastically. His left eye was open again, though it was black, blue, and purple.

"Dad broke it." He said.

"He just grabbed it and snapped it." He said, tears dropping ot the floor. "Please stop fingering it. I'll be fine."

Roland's breath caught, like it always did. He smiled and kissed her cheek, "Im okay. No big deal. Im crying because it hurts." He walked back to the couch and laid down.

"Nah I'm okay," He covered up with a blanket.
