The reasons I love Balto movies are...

1. The first movie is so awesome and because it based on true story, Balto truly a hero
and did you know... the first movie of Balto changed my life become an artist, and now I like wolves, dogs, and other canine And I very grateful with it.

2. I love the second movie too, especially Aleu <3

3. And for the third movie, I like the story very much =D... and the animation is great too.

Well, I agree that the real question should be "Why wouldn't you like Balto?" but I might as well answer this for you guys.

I like Balto (the films) because:

- They are based on a true story of a true American hero (at least the first one is. The third one is slightly accurate history-wise with the planes beginning to replace dog-teams, but the second, . . . well, there really isn't any historical stuff in it.)

- The prejudice theme is done really well (in all of the films, although it's not really used in WoC.)

- The stories, relationships and characterizations are rather believable (the bond of human friendship and unconditional love, the relationship of a father and daughter . . . and a father and son, . . . tales of true courage and ultimate destiny . . . NEED I SAY MORE?)

- The animation and artwork is stunning, really showing off the beauty and pristine grandour of 1925 Alaska (both the tame world and the wild wilderness . . . I love how the skies turned out in all three films. I'd really love to see them with my own eyes one day!)

I think that's enough to prove my point.
