I think you're mixing it up,....

there is Dawn,
The dog Dawn has a crush on (I'll call him Max to make it simpler)
and Dawns crush's mate-to-be (Lets call her Danelle)

So Max loved Dawn, and when Dawn found out, she didn't know how to react and he got the idea she didn't like him at all. So he started to love Danelle, who loved him back and they are going to be mates soon. But he still loves Dawn, and hes sorta mixed up about it all.

Does that make it clearer for you? ^_^

So, Max Loves Dawn, Dawn loves Max, Max loves Danelle, And Danelle loves Max.
So, max and dawn love each other.
And Max and Danelle love each other.
So max is kinda mixed up.

History: Alex is one of the top sled dog leaders in the country. He has won many dog sled races, and is loved and cherished by his owners. He has been training for dog sledding his entire life, and knew nothing else until his family died. He and his teammates were put up for sale by their family's neighbors, but he ran away and found sanctuary in a tiny town with a few other dogs of his kind. He lives with a kind old woman now, still wishing he could be out there and racing.
Personality: He is sweet and kind, but can be self-centered at times. But those happen less often, now that he's out of the racing circuit. He will protect you with his life, and he's a leader. He is very intelligent and can solve a difficult situation very easily.

[b]History: Eb grew up as a regular husky, he was sold at a young age from a professional breeder that bred huskies for a living. Ebony got his name because he had more black on his pelt than any of his siblings. Ebony was sold to a family with a teenage girl and an young boy. Ebony's main purpose in his new home was to protect and look out for his owners youngest child, Ebony loved his family very much but he usually didn't prefer to be home. He liked to be outside with his friends escepecially Dawn
Personality: Ebony is the kind of dog who likes to make isecracks and jokes, he is very smart with his words and always seems like he has something to say - a good comeback or something else to say - he is also very charming and irrisistible. He usually seems to make up things as he goes along but it always works out in the end (if you've ever seen the movie Pirates of the Caribbean he's alot like Jack Sparrow)
