Another thing is the worst excuse in the world: Writer's block. I mean, some people say that the reason for their post being too short is 'cause they have writer's block but they seem to have "logic block" too. If they were smart then they would wait for the writer's block to go away but I guess they choose to forget that. So, writer's block is no freaking excuse. Ever.

Lastly, the worst thing is that I'll look at the unanswered posts section and I'll see like a dozen role plays that(no offense) look like they were created in a minute. I can hardly find a role play that's really good and looks like some real time has gone into it's plot.

Still, I believe that there should be some leniency towards role play noobs; 'cause they don't know better so we need to show them the ropes. However, at some point once they've made a reasonable amount of posts in role plays they need to start to get better and learn 'cause (I can only speak for myself) nobody's gonna tolerate crappy posts from people who should know what to do and not do.

And this is pretty much the reason that Lux and I wrote out that role-playing guide and posted it for everyone

I can think of a member who regularly visits the roleplay box, that is rather rude when giving critique. Or perhaps better wording would be "harsh". However, if someone says they think she might be being a little rude, her friends automatically jump in and stick up for her. "Don't try to be [name here], you won't win!". >_>

The best thing you can do with members like these is report. If they are really in the wrong, the moderators will give them a warning and eventually a ban if they continue to be rude to other members. That's the simplest and safest way you can deal with the situation.

However, most Roleplayers are only trying to help you improve. These are the ones who point out the flaws in your roleplay and how you can improve on it. It's the same as an artist recieving critique, some people take it to heart, some fan girls decide to flame you. (That happened to me recently, simply because I suggested to a member that they develop their own style over time instead of copying Balto screens.) But some people learn something from it, and become as good as they can get.

In this one role play I was in few people were posting well and I frequently tried to help this one other role player(the creator of the rp) out with his/her posts and it was working for a while but after a couple of posts the person would just go back to apparently not giving a darn about their posts.

Yeah, this happens. Most try to help improve...some ...well, some get what they had comming, and others (who don't try to help) just be harsh.
One, people all RP diffrent. It's not easy changing how you Role-Play. But when you make a lame post like "who? " said she. That is un-creative.
And mistakes, well every one makes mistakes.
And Not every one is rude, some members are just TOO stuborn, and don't like being told what to do, I saw this user using an offical charter in a RP, I told him it was against the rule. He pouted. He reported me, blaming me for stopping his RP. But he was in more trouble thant I, threating me, starting fights, and such other. Yeah, not every one is rude, it's just a matter if they are going to pout or not. And if other members will be rude to them.

Yes, I've seen this happen sometimes, unfortunately. Its happened to me, once or twice, too. It gets pretty annoying, i mean its okay for the newbies to make short posts at first and stuff, but if they don't try to improve or take in anything you say to help them, then its no fun to roleplay with them, then advanced roleplayers stop roleplaying, and we end up with all the advanced roleplayers being bored, or stopping roleplaying

Its sometimes like.

Member 1: Star walked down the street in the pale morning light, and seeing her friend, Golden, she ran to her happily, snow flying away from her heels as she ran. And so on, post goes on for 50 more words or so "Hello, Golden, you'll never guess what happened!" She exclaimed happily, her eyes shining.

Member 2: "What happened?" said Golden

Member 1: My new brothers and sisters were born today, they're so cute and their names are Insert 50-100 more words here

Member 2: "Cool" Said Golden, smiling.

And then it goes on like this, and it gets pretty.. boring.

Not to be blunt, but...

Even if whitewolf17 was talking about you, this is just going to start an argument, or at least its just going to cause unnecessary off-topicness..... I mean, it happens a lot, Whitewolf17 probably wasn't talking about you, and this could just cause an argument...... If you want to talk to Whitewolf17 about this, you should do it through Pm.

Even if Whitewolf is, as long as she dosen't say who it was with, she is not breaking any rules, nor attempting to flaim (I should think).

Yeah, ya just pretty much described all my recent experiences with role plays and I was so sick of it I just stopped and really don't want to continue again.
