Yes, while I agree about the annoying flood of Twilight topics, did you think that some people might have a different opinion to you and may actually like Twilight? I haven't actually seen it myself, but all my friends have and say that it's awesome. What do you mean, not many people like it? Obviously if there are nine threads about it, people DO like it.

Also, part of the reason why people actually like it is the hawt guys in it. Quote from my friends:

"The Jonas Brothers are so like... gone from my head now. The Twilight boys are in there now!"



What, like Balto? Don't get me wrong, I'm a Balto fan too, but how can you call someone 'lame' just because they don't like something that you like? Some people like hot sparkly vampires, and if you have a problem with it, keep it to yourself.

I do think it's sort of 'over the top' to have nine different threads about Twilight, but not that many of them are 'clones' and are about different aspects of it. So that right there would make it reason enough to not have to lock all but one of them.

No, they don't. You have no right to say what's lame or not. No one does. And it's high time that we all learn that. Learn how to respect someone's opinion when it's different from you. And if you can't, shut up and don't even start to talk about it. You'll just end up making a huge fool out of yourself.

Just because there's a lot of Twilight topics doesn't give Twilight-haters the right to bash fans and their opinions like that.

Anyway, I'm a fan myself, and even I'm sick of the topics. They're not all on the same specific subject; but it's still irritating. All the discussions held in the topics can just be held in the first one or something. Whatever. It's still irritating.

This wasn't meant to be a bash Twilight thread. Although I see how my first post started the fire. This was meant to be able consolidating topics no matter how ridiculously popular it is.

And since when were Twilight fans lame? The only ones that are lame are the ones that physically assault you and destroy your property because you don't like it. And they do exist, trust me. But not all of them are like that.

I don't think Rebel was saying that you yourself was bashing Twilight. ;D It's just that there are so many haters out there that see "Twilight" and think "Oh goody! I get to spread my hatred and make myself look like a dumb[butt]!! ='D."

I agree with Jersey Captain, as much as I like other anime, this site should, and is a Balto/Lion King site. One Twilight theard is enough, but for the other books, I think all of them, whatever their names are, should stick to one forum really. If you posts the books sepratly, people might get confused and post about 'Breaking Dawn' in a 'Twilight' thing.

It's not that we're getting defensive. I'm a Twilight fan and I agree with Sora-kun. We don't need all those topics. But going into how you agree with Stephen King saying that Stephine Meyer can't write was not the best idea since that's something that I know I for one, if I didn't know better, would fight because I completely disagree. This isn't about whether or not we think she can write, it's about the amount of Twilight topics that the more rabid fans make.

I don't think bashing Twilight was what Sora-Kun had in mind when this topic was posted. It just, unfortunately, created an oppurtunity for Twilight-haters to spread their hatred. I've got nothing against fans or haters of that particular series, but I think this now needs to be locked to avoid further fights, and because the problem has already been dealt with.

It's only reasonable that there is speculation about why there are so many Twilight threads.
