As Kale entered, Huntress had her back to him, looking out the window, barely covered. Her muscles flexed gently, and she could smell the slight fear he had. With a smile, the turned her head, her profile showing.
"My dear Kale, my only friend..." she said, turning around fully. "You are in charge of the subordinates, aren't you?" her eyelashes fluttered gently, but her grey eyes were always a danger. Huntress had found quite a fondness for Kale's cruelty, and showed it whenever she could. "Close the door, darling. Come, sit, eat..." there was a flask of wine and an assortment of foods, mostly bird, fish, and a few fruits. "Discuss a few things with me, my darling companion." her tone was low and sultry, almost seductive.

Kale was seuced by the tone of her voice. He shut the door and moved to the table, put his hat on it and took a swig of wine. "Yes, ma'am. I was in charge of the subordinates. Did I do somethign wrong?" He was suddenly nervous. If he did soemthign too wrong, Huntress would have his head and he knew that.

Huntress chuckled softly, putting on a gown, slits on both sides. It was short, and very plain. "No no, nothing wrong...But, have you had the subordinates do a head count of the slaves? If we are to take over this country, you and I shall have to go hunting sometime..." Kale would know what she meant by hunting; for slaves, for vermin parents who could be bought out, able to sell healthy, strong young with out being pained by 'love', or weak woodlanders who could be killed easily...
Huntress smiled gingerly, sitting beside Kale, an arm around the back of his chair, leaning herself close. "We'll go sometime this evening, hm? Search for otters, a squirrel or two..." she whispered in his ear, tail flicking across the rug. She herself took a swig of wine, grey eyes smoldering.

Kale gulped. "Y-yes, ma'am. We need more slaves." He felt his heart beating rappidly in both fear and pleasure. "Hutning, this evening, ma'am? That sounds good." His veins pulsed as his heart beat quickened even more.

Huntress brought her paw underneath his chin, bringing his muzzle close to hers. "Good, good...Oh, and Kale..." just as quickly as she had come, she got up, grabbing a large four pronged pike. "Make sure the guards you hire for the slaves..." her grin turned to a snarl, shuoldering the impressive weapon. "AREN'T DRUNKS!" she threw, missing on purpose. "The last time those hell's teeth forsaken otters nearly killed everybeast in this fortress! Why? Because, apparently, you find good drinking buddies, don't you?!" she was on him, the chair toppled, straddling his chest, paws on his shoulders. "Kale, I care for you, you're like a brother to me..." actually, Huntress felt, when they took over, he could be so much more...She lay down slowly, eyes pleading. "Before we leave, let me see the guard you hire?" she asked, head on his chest.

Kale's eyes were wide with horror as he nodded. "O-Okay, Huntress, miss, Ma'am. i'll go do that!" His paws were clenched tightly on teh arms of the chair as if he thought she'd try to throw him outside. "I-I promise. You can inspect them as much as you want to."

Huntress smiled, once more in her good mood. "Kale, Kale..." she pressed her paws to his face, bringing their noses together. "Calm down. Am I...too tough on you, darling?" she asked, taking the pike from the wall, throwing it onto her bed. "Dear Kale, silly Kale, do you think I'd kill you?" she giggled, a light, very tooth wrenching sweet sound...Huntress was never sure why.
OOC: OK, brigning in someone else
Marigold sighed, using her spear as a staff, searching through the forest. "Elijah? Elijah! Are you up in the treetops again?" she asked, a paw on her hip. "I swear, a hawk will swoop down and save nothing but that bushy brush for me to find!"

Elijah laughed as he landed infront ofher mother. "Hey, Ma!" Chuckling, he looked around. "Where's Hope? Did she run off again?" the last part was teasing since he was usually the one runing off looking for adventures.

Marigold gasped, holding a paw to her chest as her son landed in front of her. She looked at Elijah with a smirk. "Hope's at home, spreading a thick coatign of honey on a few big, piping hot oatmeal scones" she grinned. "But, you're covered in muck, so I'm afraid we'll have to let the birds eat yours..."

Elijah's eyes widened as she hit teh weaknes every dibbun had. He took off at a run towards the house. "Not if I beat you there!" he called over his shoulder.
Ooc:// I'm gonna bring in Drake.
Drake's eyes widened as he stared at Brome. "Martin the Warrior was my... my..." His head was spinning. Breathless, he fell on his knees, his paw clenched around teh dagger he had always kept with him. Though Noonevale was peaceful, he had never let anyone take this.. All he had been told was that it had once been his father's. "I am the son of MArtin the Warrior?" He looked up at his Uncle Brome, who nodded slowly, eyes closed. "Which means that my mother was Rose of Noonevale." Hee had never known his mother but Brome had always made him call him Uncle. Now he knew why. Glancing at the rose planted outside, he shook his head. "No, no! This is... What... Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

Marigold laughed, taking off in a run, strapping the spear to her back. "You're washing up first, you filthy little monster!" she called, beginning to jump into the low hanging branches, quite the natural acrobat, as all squirrels are.

Brome kneeled down when Drake fell, holding his shoulders. "Yes, it's true. I didn't tell you..." he searched for his reasons, eyes cast down. "It is a painful memory...For everybeast here in Noonvale. Rose, my sister, was such brightness here, and nobeast has ever been the same; including your Father."

Elijah laughed as he raced on the ground. Then he lepat onto a brancha nd began leaping form tree to tree like his mother. "Only if you catch me!" he teased.
Drake looked up. "My father...." He released his dagger and looked at his uncle. "Where is he?" he asked eagerly. "Where is my father?" He hesitated. "You do know, don't you?"

Marigold giggled, jumping down and running below her son. "I have...a game for you! If you win, you can eat your scone, filthy as you are!" she grinned "I'f I win, I get to take some soap, and give you a good scrub down!!" Marigold skidded to a halt, looking at Elijah "Do you want to play?"
Brome shook his head, looking at Drake. "The last I saw of him, he was heading South from Marshank, on the western shores..." he had never spoken about Marshank, and it still made him shudder, especially to think of Felldoh, how he vowed to destroy it, and Marshank destroyed him instead.

Elijah hesitated, thinking it over. Any smart dibbun would say no but this was like a dare... He enver turned down a dare. Never. "Okay," he finally said. "Okay, I'm in."
Drake looked out the window to teh rose again. "Okay.... Have you ever heard from him? Did he ever try to contact you?"
