You like the name Raven don't you? Well I guess I shouldn't be saying that because I used Yuma again! :] You're accepted! Maybe if I get one more person in the next day or so than we can start, if not than we'll just start anyways okay?

A tall tree crashed to the ground, the fire that had killed it raging forward. The fire quickly spread to a nearby den. The wolves trapped inside barked. Yuma huddled down as close to the ground as possible. "SAVE THE PUPS!" came an anguished bark. "SAVE THEM! HELP THE PUPS!" Yuma recognized the frantic voice of her mother. Four older wolves flooded into the den, picking up Yuma and her siblings by their scruffs. They dragged her out. The last thing she saw were the giant pine trees that always seemed a mile above her head catching on fire and toppling to the ground, the wolves trapped underneath stumbling around and howling, trying to figure out what to do.
Yuma jerked upwards, drenched in sweat. She had the same nightmare every night, the one about the splitting of the Lunar Clan, but it still had the same effect. And what had the new leader of the pack done to help? Nothing. Abesolutely nothing. He had fled, cackling like a witch, but Yuma had no idea why. She shook the thought away. What tragedies are in store for me today? She thought to herself. Guess I'd better go find out. She pulled herself up and slowly trudged across the frozen tundra, her tail sweeping the icey snow.

Beta barked and howled a tune that he had made up in his free time. With no-one to talk to in the past three months since the splitting, he had gotten into the habit of talking to himself. "So, what are we gonna do today?" He asked himself. "Huh? Any ideas?" He paused. "No, I didn't think so. You never do." Gosh, I've got to stop talking to myslef! I'm going insane! "What to do, what to do..." This time he was merely thinking out loud. He looked around so more, before getting up and sadly singing his slow tune.

Akuya was dreading the sun coming up, it always was nicer when it was down. She blended in better then. Her dark fur stuck out in the shimmering snow. It had been a slow hunting night for her, and she wasn't in the greatest mood. She usually only hunted at night because of her coat, but now her empty stomach was forcing her to hunt when the sun was out. She was pretty good at not eating for long periods of time, but it had already been two days since she last ate, and she was becoming weaker by the minute.This is just great. She thought. I can't stay hidden at night, and now I've gotta do it during day? Yeah right. She scowled and turned away, following the fresh scent of elk.

Jack slowly padded around the forest with a rabbit hanging from his jaws, kicking a few leafs in his way he digged his claws in the soft snow to see if their was anyone close by. His blind eyes stayed fixed on the white snow he hated so much, it made his paws wet and fuzzy that he couldin't 'see' as well. He found a surprisingly dry tree bark, big enough so he could sit on and eat his meal in peace with out the snow ruining his food, Jack dropped the dead rabbit on the bark and dragged it under a berry bush as shelter from the snow. Once he finnished, the Blind wolf summoned a wall of earth for more protection and laid down to eat his meal in peace and quiet.

Bakura laid in his own den,the light trying to wake him.He grunt as it hit him in the eye,the sunlight brothered him,another day and no more dream.He gave a sigh then got up to his paws,walking out of his den he laid.He just wanted to sleep,so he just daydreamed as he laid half of his body out of his den the rest inside. He watched as a small bunny crossed his path not knowing he was there.He smirked then quickly launched himself at it.He ate his prize as it died then licked his bloody lips.

The day had been more eventful than Yuma had expected. She had found a small stream that trickled quite slowly. It was still better than the stagnant water that she had been drinnking out of little pools of melted ice. She followed the stream down to a larger pool. Her eyes lit up when she saw that it could be used as a time consumer. SHe cautiously slid into the icey water. It felt good when it seeped through her fur--she had always liked the cold.She sat for a while, letting the current take the dirt and ice from her fur. The only hard part was getting out. It was so much warmer in the water, and she knew that if she didn't find shelter fast, the water would freeze on her. She looked around, trying to find anything possible that would help. She spotted a patch of moss uderneath a shaded pine tree. She quickly dashed over, knowing that if she took her time, the water would freeze. She cautiously rubbed the water off onto the moss, doing that quickly too. She sat in a spot where there wasn't as much snow and licked her fur backwards. That helped it dry faster too. She sat down and thought about the relief of the water. A snow hare hopped past her, not noticing her white fur blending in with her surroundindings. Yuma grinned to herself. She hadn't had a meal in days, and this was an easy one. She pounced, victorios as she had expected, and quickly swollowed her meal, making sure no signs were left to attract other loners.

occ// guys sorry for the huge break!!!!! i was in utah! and my laptop is broken for the time being...

so sad...

Yuma woke with a start after a long night's sleep. She hadn't had a bad dream, just that she could never sleep if she knew that she was dreaming. If it was real enough, she would doze off, but if it was fake, she would wake up quickly. Her dream was obviously fake, so she woke earlier than usual. She stretched and groomed her hind legs. Yawning, she trotted over the hills, taking in all scents. She was looking for meat scents. She could go without food for days, but it was better to keep stocked. She suddenly halted. She sniffed. No way. She sniffed once more to confirm what she smelled: humans. No way, no way, no WAY!!!!!! She bounded forward, ripping through the snow at a speed she had never before accomplished. It was exhilerating. You have GOT to be kidding me!!! She burst into a clearing, and paused the shortest second to look around.

Akuya silently stalked one of the smaller elks in the herd. He was a small, care-free, child, with tiny lumps as antlers. She grinned to herself. This shouldn't be too hard. She dropped into her haunches and crept forward, inch by inch. The small buck's head popped up. Akuya stayed as still as possible, not even daring to breath. NO! she thought. A lump built in her throat, trying to stop the noise. The elk finally put his head back down to graze some more, and Akuya let out her breath. It was noisy, too noisy. Her eyes widened as the buck's head popped up again. This time he did not hesitate. He sprang forward, shrilling his warning call to the rest of his herd. Akuya bounded after him, her muscley legs propelling her forward. She grinned as she gained on him. She took a few more bounds, then pounced. The kill was swift and painless. She pulled his back legs down, tripping him, before snapping his neck to the side, a trick she had picked up. Too easy. She stated, licking her chaps. The rest of the herd was already long-gone. She ripped off the top layer of flesh from the elk's belly, then dug in to her large meal.

Beta sighed. His drooping tail hung in the bed of ice he had spent the night in. It was hard, but the thin layer of snow that covered it made it just the tiniest bit more bareable than a rock. A scent caught his attention. He coughed in disgust. Yuck! What in the world is that smell? His nose wrinkled and he made a strange gagging noise. "Better go make sure everythings in order how it's supposed to be." He stated to himself, then scowled for talking to himself.

After he finnished his meal and took a quick nap, the blind wolf wondered around aimlessly for a minute.

Darkness. just the darkness to accompany him. With the tall pines towering over him, Fenris came out of the make-shift den to confront the day. "one again, it seems I'm alone" he murmured, then started the daily hunt for food. It didn't take long to find what he was looking for, a deer herd he often found around these parts. Pushing himself to attain the utmost secrecy, he crept up on the herd. There! at the back of the herd, he could see a foal that had a slight limp. Still ever suspicious, he started to run.
