No I haven't, its really hard to find a site with a complete list of Cryptids. Here's a pretty neat site however with a lot of information on it. http://www.newanimal.org/

I don't think there ever can be a complete list of cryptids, really; at least not one humanly made. That's basically like trying to write a book about everything you don't know. A clearly real system whose proponents would fire a science teacher like Roger DeHart for acknowledging that it wasn't universally believed. I grew up with an evolutionist father, I was indoctrinated in evolutionary teaching all the way through high school, and I have not yet found a compelling argument for Darwinian evolution. I've been yelled at before on here for expressing the extent of my doubt (this one's for you, Roger DeHart), but PM me any three proofs of microbe-to-microbiologist evolution and I will gladly send them back as crushed and decimated as the hoax at Piltdown. But as for this topic, lets stay on subject and skip the jargon.

Glad you enjoyed the site Whitewolf. I have to agree to an extent with Dragon Tamer, I don't think Darwin was right completely, not to say that animals don't 'evolve' into new species, I just don't think the changes are nearly as drastic as he claimed, I in no way believe we evolved from apes but I think animals can adapt, like in my theory, Neanderthal, or I'll admit to Gigantopithagis, adapting to the harsh mountains to become the Yeti and eventually Bigfoot. But I don't believe they're 'missing links'. Anyway like Dragon Tamer said, lets get back to subject. I found an intresting idea about the 'Plesiosaur type' lake monsters, such as Nessie. There was a prehistoric whale species that resembled Plesiosaurs and looked almost nothing like modern day whales, they were even to an extent amphibious. They even have a long, flexiable neck. Some parts of the lake monster myths make more sense fitting this, as they'd be warm blooded instead of cold blooded.

I don't want to sound "pushy" but I'm a firm believer in evolution and I don't see any other logical way humans came into existence. Also, the one flaw in your theory is neandertals evolving into gigantopithecus. Neandertals were much more advanced so it would have been a regression, not an evolution. Gigantopithecus also came into existence before neandertals so that also(no offense) destroys your theory.

I was meaning Gigantopithagus OR Neaderthal could've became the Yeti, not Neaderthals became Gigantopithagus then the Yeti. I know Neaderthal was advanced for their time but they couldn't keep up. We have no idea what Bigfoot's mental compacaty is.
As to the subject of evolution, I'm a Christian and that's my belief. Against evolution, if Humans evolved from apes, why are the apes still here? And if Bigfoot is the missing link, why is he still here?

You refuse to accept my challenge in private, then put up pins I'll be yelled at if I knock down in public. If you want the whole answer, take it to me in PMs. Otherwise, stop hiding behind the establishment. In other words, debate like a man or spare everyone the annoyance. Scientists have determined that all the so-called "species-related" differences discernable from the bones match up very well with racial ones. The signs of vitamin D deficiency, for example; people of darker skin color, because of the high melatonin levels in their skin, need more sunlight to produce vitamin D and thus are vulnerable to deficiencies when they live in northern climates, exactly where "Neanderthal" man was found.

Well that's one theory of Neanderthal, some believe, from a religious point of view, they were descendents of Cain. Anyway it is very possible they're merely another race of humans. We all have our own ideas when it comes to theses things, that's why I posted this topic. I have a new Cryptid I'd like us to discuss, Air Rods and Atomospheric Beasts. Theses are a very unique group of Cryptids. They're believed to be lighter than air creatures that live in the Atomosphere high up, in an area nearly impossible for humans to travel. They're believed to be very fragile and transperent due to their low desensity. Some have bioluminasent patches, most resemble some kind of sea creature, likely in a case of convirgent adaptation, in that they swim in the air, the same shape would work for them. They rarely leave the upper atomoshpere and when they do, its hard to see them against clouds, though there have been cases where they've been seen at night due to their bioluminasence. One nightguard in London actually claimbs to have come in contact with one hiding in a fog bank which promptly retreated back to the Atomsphere. Some scientists believe there is an entire 'Atmosphereic sea' high up in the sky.

I love that show!! My favorite cryptid shows are Monster Quest and Destination Truth, but the show on Animal Planet isn't too bad either.

Dragon Tamer wrote: Thunderbirds? Good suggestion. A comman theory on Thunderbirds is they're surviving Teratorns, 'extinct' birds that were as tall as a human and had a 25 foot wingspred and the largest birds capable of flying ever, which most modern day Thunderbird sightings resemble greatly, and we know from the fossil record that habitates in which Thunderbirds are now sighted were the natural habatate of Teratorns. They're realated to Condors but many resemble the sightings of Thunderbirds so Cryptozoologists commonly believe Thunderbirds are Teratorns. I think they're real but live in isolated areas and otherwise staying in the clouds, which is likely a hunting technique, which would be pretty effective.
