Cooper looked at the rest of the dogs on his team. They were all currently in one of four boiler rooms that was to be the home for each of the teams for the next three days until the start of the race. All the teams were more than ready for it to start. He looked out the nearby window. The sun outside was winking at him as he paced the length of the small building. He could hear Amy in the small bedroom that was attached to the boiler room getting ready. He wondered how today's training would go, considering it would be the first day in Anchoarge.

Luna was pacing outside of Star's Light's building that they were currently staying. The race was only three days away. Three days! How were they supposed to be ready in that amount of time? It was impossible. Impossible! They could just give up and go home.

Samson rolled over on the wooden floor that he was sleeping on. Half of his team was up already, getting ready for the day's training. John was already out at the sled, getting it ready and probably strapping in some of the early risers into their harnesses already. Sam picked himself up and shook out his fur. He was the last to rise. Oh well. It wouldn't be the first time.

Kita rolled around in the snow outside of Raven's Feather's building. There was a fresh layer of snow outside and it was even more fun ti play in than it was yesterday. She was the only one outside on her team. She went back to the door of the boiler room and barked, "Come one guys! THe sun is out, let move!"

Ava lifted her head when Kita came in. They had been close friends for a while, and she was the only one that Ava thgouth she could truly talk to. Kita ran back out to play in the snow, and Ava followed her. When they got outside, Ava paused. She looked around. The sun reflecting on the snow was just dazzling. "You're right!" She said and tumbled into the snow. "It's beautiful out here!" Her thoughts weren't about the snow though. They were about something much more important. It's my first year. Ava thought. What if I mess up and bring the whole team down? And we would lose... All because of me... She bit her lip.

Angel bounced around impatiently inside the Star's Light building. "Come on, come on! It hasn't been sunny in days!!! I don't want to miss out ono this!!!" She barked. Her impatience took over and she scowled; something she did very rarely. "Okay, that's it! I'm going out!" She said to no dog in particular. She was going out in the snow to play, and waiting for a few of the other dogs to come with her. She marched outside finally, tired of waiting. There she saw Luna pacing. Luna grimaced and paused, then kept pacing. Back and forth and back and forth. Angel watched her a bit, then stepped in cautious not to disturb her. "Luna? Are you okay?" She asked warily.

Demon was the first one out in the fresh snow that morning, scowling at the bright sun. He rarely ever slept, because it was a waste of time to him. He waited for John to come out. He came out not too much later and hooked Demon up. "Why are you always up so early, boy?" He asked and yawned. The dogs on his team slowly came out one by one. First was Malice, then Riptide, and the rest Demon didn't pay attention to. He sat down and waited impatiently for Samson. He was always the last one out, and always got on Demon's last nerve. A growl rose up in his chest. "I swear, If that dog doesn't get out here now..."

Cooper glanced at Flurry for a moment before brushing passed her to resume his pacing. He turned around when he heard barking. Almost laughing. And then he heard the laughter. He shook his head at them. Trinity would never let them play in the snow if there was work to be done. Suddenly, Amy came out of her bedroom. "Ready to head out guys?" she asked her team.

Luna pasued in her pacing to look over at Angel. "Fine, why?" she asked. Her mind was still going a mile a minute with every worry that she could think of.

Samson slowly trotted out of the boiler room and took his place on the team. Obviously, he was the last one there. He smirked at the rest of the team, though. He was probably the most rested, even if he was the last out.

Kita laughed and ran after Micah. She leaped over him mid-run and landed in another pile of snow. "Come on!" Kita siad to Ava, noticing her friend's hesitation. "The weather's fine!" She laid back down with a plop into the snow again.

Shinner stepped out of the Star's Light building,she looked around and took in the frosty cold air. Her eyes followed a small tral to Luna and Angel,Shinner then laid in the white snow crossing her paws. She just sat there,blending in with the snow but her eyes gave her away and so did her blossom sent. "Are we nervous?"She asked them with a gentle voice.
