In Balto 3, it's in fact harder to find screenshots where the characters have one tail instead of two...Because it was encoded in a strange way, and it's often mixed up on still screenshots.

I found this one in the first Balto, and it was actually drawn that way. I also found one of boris where he's swinging the mop they drew three handles for the fast motion. :P

Ohhh...hard question there. I picked both because I would have to give them both credit for the animation and background pictures and colouring.

BALTO: Had very realistic looking snow and great trees and mountains in the background. The characters looked really much like their attitude and they had nice character roles. They had very nice colouring and never really became fuzzy on the screen.

THE LION KING: Awesome animation I have to give them credit. Even if I love Balto much more I have to say this movie is worth watching for colour and background animation. The colours and amazing and the characters are pretty simalar to the Balto characters just in cat form.

Well TLK2 and TLK 1/2 Both had a better picture then Balto 1 and TLK1, but that's just because they are older! but still Balto1 and TLK2 Are my faves!

What? Do you mean that TLK 2 and TLK 1 1/2 have better animation than TLK 1? You've got to be kidding!

That first one with Mufasa? Oh, well. He supposedly gets hit from the wilderbeast. I hope I helped you with that.

Anyway, both Balto and TLK were great. I'm not taking any of their sides. I picked both. TLK2 and TLK1 1/2 was not as good as the first. But, I liked the second one. The 1/2 one was really annoying

That is a hard call. They styles are just so different. The atmosphere that the movies create make it a rather tough call. I personaly think that Balto's animation was more real looking, where the Lion King was rather cartoon styled. Also Balto never had sceens in which a musical number had things happening that where rather unrealalistic, where several of the one's in Lion King get a little over the top. "Be Prepared" is one for example. By the end of the song it seems volcanic erupions have occured and the entire floor has become several skyscrapers, with Scar and the hyenas on them, soaring several feet above the bottom of the ground.

I agree with JazzyWolf, I couldn't decide. The scenery in TLK1 like sunsets and things was great, and the snow and mountain scenery in Balto was great too..and I love both of the character animations, so I really can't decide.
