((This is when Free Bird is running away from her abusive owner.))
Free Bird's owner Joe hit her with the whip again, then picked her up to throw her at the wall.There was a loose nail and she rammed her body against it, as her blood smeared the wall as she slid down.She didn't yelp.She just stood back up and glared at him "I will not back down!" She snarled as she charged for him, full speed.She knocked him over as she pounced on him and tore his hand up.He then got his gun out!He aimed it at her head "Stupid wolf!" He screamed as he shot the bullet but she moved just in time, so instead it hit her back leg.She limped off out of the door and went passed the sled team with blood trailing along.She sped up as she smelt other wolves.She ran towards it and found a forest, it reaked with lage prey and other wolves.She howled, it was a instinct.Her howl said "I'm here!I'm here!New wolf!" She ran off into the woods and sniffed out a small den that had not been claimed and layed down and marked it."Home I guess." She said to herself as she noticed the blood has slowed.She then reached in and tugged the bullet out, she didn't even flinch.Instead she threw it on the ground.

Polar Bear heard the howl and ran up to the injured animal. He realized that it was another of his kind, " Oh my! Who did this to you?!" He said and he snarled guarding her from any harm.

Free Bird (AKA:Bird) snarled uner hr breath "Like you care" then she looked up at him "Joe..the musher." She growled as she tured around and looked at the bullet then kicking it "Bad memories.....why do ay need them?" She asked the bullet then she continued walking.

Bird rolled her eyesand got into his face "Is that right?You are the fastest male on the team!Why would you want a olf like me?Huh?I maybe the fastest female, and...and thing on the tea!But still!I thought you liked dogs like Dawn!And Babs!" She snarled at herself for bringing up the 2 dogs that broke Bear's heart.She hit herself "Sorry I brought them up..." She hoped he would forgive her..she liked him ut he was too good for her.

He smiled and nuzzled her.

Bird blushed but then the hate returned "Ya right...I know they sent you here to make me fall in love with you..then you break my hart and go off and tel them.Right!" She said as she ran off.

He ran up to her and said with a serious look frozen on his pure white face, "No! I ran off a year ago. You wouldn't know it. Everyone thought I was dead, but, I'm not. Ok? I love you! Do I really need to prove it to you?! Gosh! Why won't you believe me?" He asked with compassion and care in his husky strong voice," I love you." He said, " I really don't need to prove it to you. Don't you see?" He asked.

Bird stopped and walked back to him "Oh...realy?" She nuzzled him slightly then jerked her head back 'no....I can't love again...I jus can't' She thought as she backed up, with a confusing look on her face.She then waked back over to her new "den" and layed down "Come in.." She said beckonng him to follow her.
