[email protected] is nothing more than a sniveling little troll who thrives on this attention. Any attention he garners from his asinine posts. While he most certainly DOES need to be permanently banned (including his I.P.), he's come back before after being deleted I believe...specifically because of his trolling proclivities. That's why banning his I.P. would be a step in the right direction. Maybe not a full-proof one, but certainly about a million times better than a short ban of half a month.

I know this is off-topic but I've looked everywhere and I've never seen this "banned box" people talk about. Can only banned people see it? And how do people know when someone else has been banned and if that person is just taking a break from the site?

I have, like Conay, reported the troublemaker in the past. Repeatedly. However, he's been treated with "kid gloves", and also been allowed to return with different profiles (and yet, all bearing variations of the "Peppermint" theme which, if you ask me, indicates the intelligence level we're talking about here...). I think it's long overdue for harsher punishment in this particular case...

And really, with all the damage that particular troublemaker wrought, I am reminded of a very old saying (though this is not directed at you or the hard-working mods): "how the mighty have fallen..."
