I think it's kind of silly to get worked up about either way. I mean, on the one hand, I've heard enough about the Jonas Brothers' principles to say that they have my approval; if nothing else, I believe their hearts are in the right place (I haven't listened to enough of their music, admittedly, to cast a vote on their vocal chords). But if someone doesn't like their music, why get into a tizzy about it? And likewise, if someone does like their music, people shouldn't get after that person for it either.
As anyone who's known me for any length of time will know, there are certain areas where I do believe in drawing a hard-line stance. I just don't know as music would fall into that category. Now, if someone were saying, "The Jonas Brothers stink because you can go through a whole song of theirs without hearing any trash talk or swear words," then I've got a problem. But if it's just a matter of taste, nothing more or less, leave it be.
Very true DT...but I thought I might point this out because it was getting out of hand on the SB. I mean I know
I hate the Jonas Brothers but like you said, we shouldn't go after that person and being mean to them if they dont like it. Thats called "Harrasment"I think...
I think harrassment only fits if it's persistently done as an active pursuit (spamming the person with PMs about it, for example). There may be a better word for it, I'm not sure.
