In my opinion, this isn't a good idea. Members look forward to the snow every year, at least that's what I'm told. (This was my first BaltoSource Christmas. ;]) So making the snow an 'all year round' thing would just make Christmas snow on BS less special.

Yes, that's what I think too. If it would snow every day where you live, I think you would become very bored...

Plus, like others have pointed out, the snow makes most computers run slower.

It's painfully slow on mine, to tell the truth...because my CPU is more than 5 years old, and it was already one of the cheapest when I bought it...
Some new visitors may have be turned off the site because of this (but I'm aware of this when I put that script on)

I had to restart the computer, which also meant losing a drawing in Photoshop which I had been working on for about 6 hours and hadn't saved, because I didn't expect my computer to freeze. >.>

Oh...Very sorry to hear that. One thing to remember when working on computers : keep a hand on CTRL + S and save every 2 minutes. (that's what I do because I hate doing the same things twice) It seems you never used an old Windows, like Windows 98...or you would know that already
Also, when the computer appears frozen, most of the time you can just close the application that gets stuck without having to restart. Use the "CTRL + ALT + DEL" combination, go into the processes and kill the one consuming the most CPU.

Thanks for that help Steet. :) I'll keep that in mind, I didn't know that CTRL + S was another option for saving work. Thanks!
