"NAh, I'm not growing up" said Cachen. "I like being a little pup." he said. "And being momma's little North Star." he said and nuzzled Katie comfortingly to relax her.
"I know but you were mature enough to stop instead of letting it get worse and worse." said Balto. "And that's what a mature couple would do."
Lena nuzzled her papa. "Thanks papa." she said. "You still owe us for getting you back togather." she joked.
"Of course I'll stay here, I wouldn't abandon my nephew." said Fang.

Katie smiled, tears glittering in her eyes as she licked Cachen's forehead. "Then how does my little North Star have a girlfriend?" she didn't like to tihnk about it, she didn't want to lose her baby.
Kodi chuckled, looking at Balto with a nod, before turning back to Lena. "I'm here, isn't that enough?"
Kai nodded, slinking into the den, pressing his head against the wall. He let out a massacred sob, whimpering lightly. A few tears dripped agaisnt his paws.
Tai smiled lightly, sensing her Mother's distress.

"I might have a girlfriend but she lives in the den with us." said Cachen, nuzzling his momma. "And we'll always stay close momma." he said. "Right Goldie?" he asked, Goldie knew how importent Katie was to Cachen.
Balto nuzzled his son. "I'm proud of you."
"Yeah." said Lena. "I love you papa."
Fang set down and waited for Kai to finish.

Goldie nodded, smiling widely. "Of course! I'd never come between you and your Momma, Cachen." she let her tail wag slowly.
Katie smiled, nuzzling Cachen lightly. She could feel her heart stop a moment,and begin to beat in time with her little North Star's.
Kodi nodded, nuzzling Balto. "Thanks, Dad." he said, glancing toward his daughter with an affectionate smile.
Kai whimpered, closing his eyes tight as he let out his mangle sobs. His chest shook lightly.

Cachen returned his mother's nuzzle. "See, Goldie understands."
Balto nodded. "Kodi, I think we'd better get going." he said. "Its getting late." he said. "Want to nuzzle Katie and your pups goodbye? You might not see them for awhile."
"I'll come with you papa, my owner is on the way to the boiler room." said Lena. "Tai, you want to stay here or come with us?"
Fang was glad Kai was letting out his emotions instead of keeping it inside were it could hurt.

Kodi nodded, nuzzling Cachen and Tai lightly. He even gave Goldie a small caress. He looked at Katie, she was beautfiul and a wodnerful Mother, but they would end up killing each other. Both smiled and nuzzled each other.
Tai nodded, smiling a little. "Yea, Rob's probably getting worried. Bye Momma." she licked Katie's cheek gently.
After a few minutes, Kai came out, sniffing lightly. He smiled weakly to Fang, rubbing his eyes against the snow, to hide the fact he had been crying.

Cachen snuggled closely to his mother after nuzzling Tai goodbye.
Lena nuzzled her mother goodbye. "Goodbye momma, we'll be back tommarrow." she said. "Just because you and papa need a break doesn't mean we need a break from you."
"Come on Kai, your papa will be leaving soon so you should say goodbye, you won't see him for awhile without going to see him." said Fang, leading the way back to the den.

Katie nodded, nuzzling Lena goodbye with a chuckle. She looked up at Kodi, ears pinned back. "Goodbye, Kodiak." she murmured unemotionally.
Goldie smiled, nuzzling Cachen lightly. She blushed deeply as her stomach rumbled. She giggled with embarassment.
Kai nodded, walking up beside Fang. "Okay." he said softly.

"Momma, is there still some rabbit left over from dinner?" asked Cachen before licking Goldie.
Fang walked over to Kodi. "Don't forget to nuzzle Kai goodbye."
Lena nuzzled Kai goodbye. "Bye bro." she said. "Take good care of momma alright?"

Kai nodded, nuzzling Kodi with a sigh. "Bye, Dad." he said, looking at his Father. "I take good care of Mom."
Goldie smiled. "Your Hemophobia's getting better, Cachen, remember? You ate alot last night."
Katie laughed softly. "Eva's right Cachen, I think you and her ate the rest. Don't worry, I'll find something for you both." she grinned wolfishly(Duh ^^) and left to find something for the two.

"Come on Kodi." said Balto. "Bye Katie, bye Cachen, Goldie, and Kai." he said, giving each a nuzzle before leaving.
Fang nuzzled Kai and Cachen. "Goodnight nephews." he said, before leaving.
Lena nodded. "Come on Tai." she said. "Race yah!" she said and raced off.
Cachen cuddled close to his girlfriend. "Not really, Lena drained the blood off." he said. "She always does." he said, sighing. "I can't help it."

Goldie smiled, nodding. "Kai's right, you've been getting better."
Tai giggled. "You know I'll win!" she called and dashed off.

"Only if I don't eat it." said Cachen. "But at least you guys understand."
Lena raced towards Nome but Tai was fast than her.
Once everyone that was leaving left and Katie was a good distence from the den, a Rotwiler walked up to Katie. "Hello there." he said. He quickly knocked her down and slipped his leg under her throat, choaking her and putting a paw over her mouth to keep her quiet.

Eva nodded. "A girlfried is supposed ot understand, right?" she grinned, licking his cheek.
Kai nodded, laying down. "I'll always be here, I'm your brother."
Tai giggled and slowed down, so she was neck and neck with her sister.
Katie stepped back warily, as the rottweiler came form nowhere, it seemed. She tried to gasp for air as he choked her, blackness surrounding her vision. She struggled feebly, eyes wide No...NO!

A man walked up and put a handcerchif covered with somekind of foul smelling tranquilizer over Katie's mouth and nose while holding her down. He handed the dog a gas canister and told him to handle the loose ends. "Don't worry, I'm not going to kill anyone." he whispered in Katie's ear. "But you might wish before this is over I'd killed you right now, the worst is yet to come."
The dog ran over to the pup's den and threw the gas cansiter in before rolling a log over the entrence, trapping the pups.
The canister released an air form of the tranqulizer into the den. "What's going on?!" asked Cachen, coughing. "What is...this...stuff." he mumbled as his legs grew weak. His vision fogged and he collapsed. "I...can't...move...why do...I feel so weak?" he asked as he fell alseep.
