Christopher Nolan! Then it would be awesome! Would probably be PG13 though.

Why not Don Bluth. He has directed 90% of the non-Disney animated films, except Balto...It would be interesting.

I had a very similar thought. I love Don Bluth films especially All Dogs go to Heaven. I think he would probably bring back the darker feel of Balto which is why I think it's superior to Wolf Quest and Wings of Change

I voted for Steven Spielberg, because he did a superb job with the first Balto movie. :D

I agree a 100% on Aloha Aleu's quote. The rest of the sequals didn't really have a good director^

Well actually Spielberg didn't direct the first Balto he was simply the Executive Producer. while the Executive Producer does have a hand in the film it's far more of a oversight job than content, he made sure all the loose ends are tied up so the films production could go on unhindered. If Spielberg had directed Balto it may have been somewhat different.

I find it interesting that Simon Wells, the director of Balto, is not a selection and yet Spielberg who had no say on the creative aspects of the movie is. Wells directed several Universal movies including the sequel to An American Tail. Come on guys! lets give some credit to the man who's successor this topic is discussing
