Yeah me too I like couples like that XD Just like Ichigo and Rukia from Bleach plus I think Ralph and Dusty are cute together in my opinion.

Hmm . . . Personally, I am more of a fan of Kodi/Dusty than Dusty/Ralph, but I like them both rather equally.

I agree with Cat, however - the look of a big guy with a smaller girl is rather cute. I think in THIS ARTICLE, Phil Weinstein himself stated that Dusty/Ralph was implied in the said scene with Dusty nuzzling against Ralph's neck, but they weren't able to continue it further (I guess it would have strayed even further from the main plot, just like the Boris/Stella scenes did . . . and we wouldn't want more of that, would we? . . . AH, who are we kidding? We'd love more of that.).

Can't they just be friends? (I mean, you hug your best friends too, right? Why is it just that when two dogs show affection for each other they have to be mates? GAWD.) That's just my observation. Dogs in real life show affection to each other and most of the time, they're just friends or something . . . not MATES. I mean, even wild dogs do it. Give it a break.

But, I don't think that other image that Xaqtly posted of Kodi and Dusty talking was what you could say was the turning point for the Kodi/Dusty relationship - remember when Kodi told off Kirby and the others about the fact that Duke could be freezing to death out there?



And after Kodi left, guess who follows?



Yep - good old Dusty. Why else would she be the only one to follow him and possibly convince the rest of the team to help Balto? (She did turn her head back - perhaps she realized that he was right this time?) Now, THAT was a turning point. (She looked worried about him . . . or maybe, was it really that she cared about him?)

So yeah, based on what I see in the film, I sense more Kodi/Dusty moments than Dusty/Ralph ones . . . I still like both, but I understand why people like either ship.

One more question: Do either one of these pairings have names? They need "shipping" names, darn it.

Juuchan --> Yeah, that'd be a good turning point, but even when I first watched the movie, I got more of the vibe that the scene was focused on KODI convincing the whole team (since all of them were looking after him, feeling pretty guilty and won over, not just Dusty) rather than just Dusty coming to an understanding because she likes him, know what I mean?

As for the nuzzle, I can see where you're coming from with it being platonic, but I'd be more convinced for Kodi/Dusty if Ralph wasn't the only boy-dog she touched XD (likewise for a certain "happy" couple, lawl)

Oh and it should be "Kosty" and "Dalph"

When I first saw the movie I preferred her with Kodi. But over time I kind of moved over to the idea of Dusty with Ralph, and I think I prefer them as a couple now.

That said, I still really like both couples. ^^ I think she would be happy with either one.

Changed my mind. I love the Ralph and Dusty pairing, their looks and personalities totally 'match' and well, they were meant to be together in the first place.

Also, if Dusty nuzzled everyone but Kodi I'd be convinced for K/D, but she only nuzzles Ralph. And she ah-bviously found him very funny but not so much to Kodi.

Dusty is with Kodi, geez, that's the only reason is that Dusty and Ralph nuzzled, it doesn't mean anything but friendship

For those who say Dusty and Ralph, apparntly you have never read my article, guys... I suggest you do... serieosly.

I need to piont this out... Nuzzling to dogs is hugging for us humans, THEY MEAN NOTHING but friendship. I hug (or they hug me) my friends who are girls all the time and it means nothing, never has, never will...

And if I can recall, Kirby was the who splashed Ralph cuz he juped into the water, and Dusty is also wet, she nuzzled (hugged) him because she to is wet from being splashed.

Seriously guys, nuzzles mean NOTHING what's so ever...

Lookit, we can speculate about this all we want, but it doesn't change the facts...
It's Kodi/Dusty.

Seriously, there are plenty of reasons to believe either way. When I first saw the movie, I didn't get an impression one way or the other; they were a team, after all. It was only on my 1000th time watching it that I noticed a bit of 'little-more-than-friends' between BOTH Kodi and Ralph. It seems the filmmakers put in the exact same amount of clues for both of them. Yes, Dusty nuzzled Ralph. Yes, Dusty seemed like she knew Kodi was right. Yes, we are purely speculating here.

I think Dusty should be with Kodi because I don't see the connection between
Dusty and Ralph(Sorry).

Hey Medic, I like Dusty and Ralph and not because of the nuzzling eather. It's because I like it and thats it, And an Aricle won't change my opinion weather you like it or not, every one is entitled to their opinion anyways.

So do what you like, say what you like and whatever but I like that pairing just as I love crack pairings XD

I would prefer Dusty with Kodi.

I was attached to this choice ever since I first saw the movie.And,I would really dislike if Dusty would go with Ralph.Just because I don't like him.

I think Kodi should be with Dusty because they would be cute together.

I'm going for Dusty and Ralph on this one.
