And to make things worse, my mum can only come for like one hour... But as for the other people there... our ward was empty, and there was only one other.. And he was so annoying... Most toy companies make smaller versions of their board games for travelers (normally played in the car while on the road). Those are perfectly-sized for a lap in a hospital bed. You wouldn't have to restrict yourself to electronic games. Any distraction from boredom is a worthy distraction. Did you ask your parents to bring you anything? That's sort of what I meant. I did ask for a few things, my phone charger being one of them... Unfortunately this was a time where you where not allowed to use phones because it interfares with the life-supports (Which recently has been prooved to be a load of bull****). But I still played with it anyway. But it's not b i'm worried about, what about older people who have no one, and are livin on pention... It's more or less a con, the Hospital pay Hospedia to use there services, and then Hospdia charge rediculous amounts of money for it.

However, without knowing what those senior citizens (or even middle-aged adults) are thinking about such things, and whether or not they'd even want them, it is silly to obsess over it. Well... It's just been confirmed (Since I checked on one of the Televisions there). They have added aload of Virgin Media Television Channels, and some advrtisement channels... Inproving services... But I have a bad feeling that prices may go up.

As I said, it's because hospitals are NHS ones. If it were a private hospital you'd have to pay huge amounts just to be treated and then pay again for the priviledge of TV. There aren't that many ways for a hospital to make money and other companies know they can make money out of offering services to hospitals. At least they have a system so you can watch TV instead of just not having anything all together. You can catch up with TV when you get home.

The hospital makes no money out of the TV services.

The hospital makes no money out of the TV services. Meh. As with all companies, Hospedia will have to pay someone for the priviledge(sp?) of the hospitals having their services in them, probably the government for NHS hospitals and it's still not that much of a problem how muhc they're charging. Hospitals are always boring, especially when you feel well but have to stay in until they let you out (That's what happened to me, had to wait an entire day for the doctor to come down to tell me I was ok now >.<) but the focus is to get better and there's loads of other things you can do to pass the time. Even with a broken leg, you could ask a nurse for a wheelchair if you're not allowed to use crutches (or can't) and go for a bit of a walk/wheel around.
