History: It was a stormy night and Navi's parents where searching for a warm, dry place to sleep. Navo found a small hollowed out tree trunk near a frozen river bank and usherd Jichi inside. Shortly after they had settled, Jichi went into labor. A hour or so later, Jichi lay quietly with four healthy Thais nursing from her. Navo was proud, but somewhat worried. As soon as the Thais were old enough, Jichi would try and run him off, or kill him, to show dominence over them.
However, as the Thais got older, Jichi seemed to get weaker. Navo became worried that something had gone wrong with the labor. When the Thais were old enough to name, Jichi only insited on naming one of the females after Navo, though Navo thought 'Navo' wasn't a name for a girl, so he named one Navi instead. He named the other girl Jinchi, and the two boys Naro and Juno. Jichi didn't seem to care, which made Navo very concernd. Normaly, a female would have run him off or killed him by now.
Two days after the Thais were named, Navo woke and found Jichi dead. The Thais were all wimpering and nudging her, trying to get some response. Heartbroken, Navo dragged Jichi's body out of the den and away from the Thais, despite their cries. Navo tried to confert his Thais, but they all mourned and pinned for their mother. Navi was the only one who kept eating and playing, the others refused. Navo tried to get them to eat, though he didn't himself. After a few weeks, Jinchi, Naro, and Juno died. Navo was throughly convinced he had been a horrible mate and father, which is why they, and Jichi, had died. Navi tried to convince him otherwise, telling him she thought he was the best father in the world, but he seemed deaf to her now. Slowly, Navo got thinner and weaker, until, finnaly, he died as well.
Navi was alone, hungry, and a little frightend. After her father died, she ventured high into the mountains nerby. She taught herself to hunt and found herself a small cave to live in. One day when she was hunting, she spotted a starnge wolf looking creature crawling slowly through the underbrush. Curious, yet cautious, Navi followed it. After a few miles, the creature stopped and let out a strange, yet wonderous, cry. Navi crouched lower in the brush she was hiding in. After a few moments, another cry pirced the air, but instead of strange and wonderous sound, the cry was errie and forbiding. The wolf creatures ears twitched and it went into a defenseive stance. After a few moments, the errie cry sounded again and something large, black, and red lept from the brush behind the creature.
Navi watched, stunned, as the creatures rammed heads and a strange clicking sound hit Navi's ears. She realized with a jolt that both creatures had horns, the black a large red one, the other a silver one. The black creature cried out and a beam of red shot from it's horn. The other creature cried out as well and a beam of blue shot from it's horn. The beams collided in midair and a large exsplosion shot both of them backward. Navi snapped out of her stunned phase and lept out from behind the brush, running straight toward the other creature, who had been blown back into a tree and was unconcious. Navi looked around quickly, making sure the black creature wasn't around, then struggled to heave the creature on her back. She then turned and ran in the other direction, away from the black creature.
After awhile, Navi noticed the creature on her back was stirring, and muttering something. Wondering if it was delusional, Navi slowed down, but as she did, a flare of silver and yellow sparks shot out from the creatures horn and flew into the sky. Navi didn't have time to think what it ment, bacause a chorous of the strange, wonderous, sound filled the air. A second later, she was surrounded by the horned creatures, each a different color, some with gold horns, some with silver. one of the creatures, a green one, stepped forward and demanded to know what happened. Navi quickly exsplained about the black creature, when she did, the others all gasped and told her to come with them imeditly. Navi obayed and they took her to a mountain. The green creature tapped his horn three times agsint it and the wall split open, revieling a valley.
Navi was amazaed, there where more of the horned creatures, along with unicorns, pegasus, and gryphons. The green creature orderd a pair of blue horned creatures to take the yellow one to the healers. Then he took Navi to a large canopy of trees, where a pale yellow horned creature sat, a gold horn on it's head. A white gold horned creature with a brown mane sat next to it, and it looked like they had been talking until the green creature bowed low and told it about Navi, the yellow creature, and something called a Oscurliolupane. The pale yellow creature nodded and the green one left. The pale yellow creature introduced herself as Schiarire, leader of Liolupanes in the Sunrise Medow valley, and the white creature next to her as Navette. Navette bowed her head in greeting.
Not waiting to be asked, Navi told them about the black creature and how it attacked the yellow one. Navettes eyes where wide and she looked shocked when Navi finneshed. Schiarire murmerd something to her and she looked reasured. Navi quickly asked what was going on, and where was she. Schiarire exsplained that she was in a hidden valley of Liolupanes, and the thing she saw was a Oscurliolupane, an evil being, attacking one of their own. Navi fell silent as she continued to exsplain about Oscurliolupanes, how they were at war, and that if she left she'd be in grave danger. Navette spoke up and offerd Navi to stay with her and her family. Navi hesitated, but Schiarire convinced her to stay.
Navi and Navette grew close and after a few months met Hoku, a kumono who had been attacked by a Oscurliolupane. They invited her to stay with them and she hurridly agreed. The three of them soon became a common sight around the valley, as they where hardly ever apart. Navette soon found herself falling for a pale blue Liolupane named Niveo, though a violet female named Viola had made it quite clear she liked him.
