I agree. its just a cartoon. Most cartoons aren't even purebred dogs. Like the first movie; Tramp is a mutt. If you have the Platinum edition (Like I do.) There is production photos of the dogs referenced from. Like here is a screenshot I took of the dog tramp was referenced from. Image

Exactly. And when they are, they usually don't look like one because they are caricature. (Angel was made to be cute and somewhat sexy, that's why she has a floppy ear and big blue eyes.

Just like Bolt is a White German Sheperd (or Swiss, or American) though he's way too small to look like one and has big eyes and nose.

While Angel's breed was not established, apparently, by the production team at Disney, there is also no definite production history which says or even implies that she was a mongrel.

Well, when the movie came out a magazine claimed she was a pomeranian and that it was official but they could just have lied as is often the case in magazines...

Yes, i agree, i just like to join in on people's topic's and say my opinion. I can't think of any other breed what matches her the most though. The animators could have just created her and not choose a specific breed for her to be. But these days, people are cruel and mostly only want pure breed dogs to breed them for money, so i don't think a pure bred dog would be on the streets, so i think it is a mix breed.

You do realize, don't you, that the time setting of the Lady & The Tramp movies is either the 1910s or the 1920s, right? Nevertheless, it is. And that's almost a century ago. AND it's a fictional setting on top of it...with fictional characters. Even in the real 1910s and 20s, the laws were different regarding dogs and leashes...as was the compliance with those laws, and the enforcement of them.

A wise person keeps those things in mind. And does so with any period cartoon (fictional or otherwise)...that the time frame is different, and that events or individuals portrayed may or may not be real, or may be alterations of real individuals, places or events.

Well to be honest, i don't know much about the date of films since i am only 12. Yes, i know that the laws were different then.

Wise? I appreciate you replying to my comments but i am only saying what i know and my opinion, i think this is what the topic was made for.

When you intend to quote people who post in a topic, please use the "quote" button at the bottom right of the screen after you hit reply. That will make what you're trying to do MUCH easier to comprehend than what you are currently doing.

Oh, didn't know how to do that before. /-:
