I understand that it's becoming more difficult to find related sites when you search for Lion king or Balto sites.
I'm not convinced that this means you can't find any though : I have always said not to search ONLY for Lion king or Balto sites, but also for sites with similar themes : Disney fansites, animal sites, other fansites on animated films (there are a LOT : try searching for fansites for Aladdin, Mulan, Kuzco, Lilo & stitch, etc...), dog-sledding sites, fanlistings, rings / tops, groups, etc... Sites like this could potentially add links to there.
Try to be a little creative when you make searches, do not limit yourself to sites on the same films.
That said, there are other things that webrankers can do, like registering the site on directories - something that I have said many times but has always been ignored. The number of directories available on the web is almost infinite :

There are other things that you can do, such as looking for broken links on the site (they are very bad for webranking), helping / suggesting visitors to add a link to the site. If you know a little about webranking technics, you can suggest them to me so that I can make modifications on the site - adding keywords for example. Try to find queries where the sites don't appear : does Balto source appear when you type "Balto screenshots" on google, for example? If not, there's definitely something to improve.
You can also try to talk about the site on Youtube videos, as they are very popular nowadays, and I'm sure many people watching Balto videos there, don't even know about the site.
There is a big thing I need to work on that could help a lot, it's to give codes to every fanart gallery, every fanfic, etc... especially to the authors themselves. Because they will be able to post the link (a button for example) to their blogs or on forums, to show other people your work. These are "natural" links, the best ones.
I will think about all this and make changes to the webranker section. You can already try all the advice I have given.
