It's totally okay to be a fan of the series, and it is wrong to insult someone for being a fan but the movies themselves are pretty repetitive. For those people who do like saw though, u should watch seven which saw was loosely based off of and is just as good if not better.

Horror movies have too much gore in them and don't emphasize anything but that in their films.

The psychological ones are a bit better and more tolerable.

I am kind a biased though because I Really hate horror movies!!

Don't even mention Seven in the same post as Saw. Seven is a masterpiece that delivers on all cinematic levels. Saw is a Seven rip-off that caters only to the lowest common denominator.

I understand and respect your opinion. Alot of people don't see Saw or horror movies because of the gore factor. Its not everyone's thing. I just like being scared or on the edge of my seat. XD And to the whole idea from the other person of watching Nightmare ON Elm Street, that movie isn't really scary. i mean the idea,of falling asleep and dying in your dream and in real life is scary but, the special effects on the movie are corny.

Movies of something that actually could happen scare me,while movies like that are just fun to watch and I love how there's always some dummy in horror films who goes where they shouldn't go.

I will say on SAW 2 when that girl stuck her hand into that case to get the vaccine but, accidently spilled it and was still STUPID enough to put her other hand in to grab the other part of the needle when her only chance in that box was already spilled was absolutely one of the dumbest things ever.

Then again when you're fighting for your life,I guess its natural to be irrash.

That's what I was saying. I do think saw is pretty bad(in my opinion), but I Never said anything bad about Seven!!

I just said I think it's a better alternative to Saw.

I know. I just said that Saw didn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Seven.

I did see Saw two last night with some friends and it wasn't too bad. My main problem with the series is that it focuses too much on the gore and not enough on a real plot that isn't based on the gore part.

The movie was better than the first one because it did have a plot(a very small one though) and it means that there is a connection between events in each movie.

Still, there was so much they could have done with the plot and making at least a semi-decent series but instead they go for the cheap thrills and gore. If they put half as much time into the plot as they did with the blood and stuff then people could find it a very good movie series.

I like to follow Jigsaw and his thoughts. He has great thinking, valuing life wise, but apparently he doesn't value his life enough to do anything with it besides stick people in traps. And how the DARN HECK are we sopposted to value life any more than we did before we were in the contraption?!?! If I was in there and managed to get out, I wouldn't value life any more that I did before I was put in there, I would just be glad I wasn't in the trap any more!!!!!!! But still, it's fun to follow him. He has good moral standards, and he is WAY too COOL!!!!!!! John Kramer=Jigsaw!!!

The first made me laugh at the beginning and the second was ill, but the best one I loved so much, it was definitely crazy. Anyways, I'll bet they will make Saw VI later this year.

I liked the first one alot actually. It had me on the edge of my seat. The second one was alright too, but after that it just got ridicolous. If I want to watch mass amounts of gore, I'll rent the Evil Dead movies. That way I can get grossed out and laugh at the same time.

I agree so on that. And the Evil Dead movies are cool too.

Yeah, and when they do, my only and 3 best friends and I are all gonna dress in tuxs and Billy the Puppet masks and take the last row, speaking in raspy voices. I heard they will only make 12 SAW movies. Anyone hear anything diffrent?

I can't beleive they made a second one. If you ask me, people who pay nine dollars to see people try to franticlly remove bombs or whatever from inside their bodies by doing god knows what is sickening. I'm ashmed for the makers of these films for having made a single Saw.

Steele's Girl- Jigsaw has Good Moral Standards?! The freak tortures people to death. By your logic Hitler must have been a freakin' saint.

Well, it's just a rumor. But, the thing I hate about horror movies is that the first one it SHAMWOW!!! amazing, but then they try and make serials, but it all ends up being a disaster! Although there are exceptions, take a look at the saw movies! JIGSAW 4 LIFE!!!
